Watch Rev Owusu Bempah praise Mahama’s humility as he fires subtle jabs at Akufo-Addo

NewsWatch Rev Owusu Bempah praise Mahama’s humility as he fires subtle jabs at Akufo-Addo

The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has praised President John Mahama’s humility while firing subtle jabs at Akufo-Addo.

Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, January 4, 2025 Rev Owusu Bempah asserted that he will continue to pray for President Mahama to continue his good work in government.

The man of God cited a viral video of President Mahama in church, sitting among worshippers, although there was a dedicated place for him and his wife.

Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah stated, “When I speak about the president, please understand why I do so. When you go before the Lord, pray for the president of Ghana, and continue to do the good works without blemish, spotless. I admire his humility, the way he does things, and the way he talks.

“He went to church, and when he got there, there was a presidential seat reserved for the seat he and his wife were supposed to sit on. But when he went there, he didn’t go and sit on that chair. He didn’t sit in the midst of the elders or pastors… He’s the president of Ghana, but he sat in the congregation like any member of the church”.

Rev Owusu Bempah later fired a subtle jab at former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He stressed that President Mahama would never order people to stand up before they could greet him.

“This is what we call humility. He does not make himself or think of himself more highly than he ought to. He wouldn’t say to you, ‘stand on your feet before you greet me,’” he added.

Meanwhile,  Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah has warned of a possible coup attempt against President John Dramani Mahama by certain foreign elements.

The man of God boldly told the person planning the alleged coup against Ghana that they would not be successful.

Rev Owusu Bempah, speaking to his congregation about events to expect in 2026, stated, “Certain people have planned, and some of the people who are planning, or have planned, are foreigners who will come into Ghana. What I am saying is something I saw, that they entered this nation when we were not conscious of ourselves as a nation. All of a sudden, we heard there was a coup d’état,” he said.

He added, “Those who are planning that evil and want to stage a coup in this country, this is a warning to you because you will not succeed. And so we will pray about it, but the security agencies we have in this nation must be vigilant.”

Also, the man of God, in a separate video, has stated that God’s blessings are on Ghana under President John Dramani Mahama.

According to Rev Owusu Bempah, Ghana’s recent economic stability is a clear indication that the blessings of God are upon Ghana.

He cited that a year ago, during the festive period, the dollar to a cedi was at 17 cedis, but today it is around 11 cedis.

The man of God stressed that many Ghanaians were able to enjoy the holiday period more than in previous years due to reduced financial hardship in the country.

Speaking to his congregation during his church’s 2025 Christmas celebration, Rev Owusu Bempah stated.

“Look at the blessings of God upon Ghana; whether you like it or not, it is a fact that cannot be denied. Look at the cedi’s performance against the dollar this Christmas it is around 11 cedis. This Christmas, Ghanaians have really enjoyed this year’s Christmas because of good leadership. I’m not doing politics, I am speaking facts,” he remarked.

“We have seen a difference because the President and his Vice President can pray for over two hours for Ghana. The President believes in God, he believes in divinity, and the way I see it, Ghana is going to get better,” he added.
