TikToker Ekow Black, known as Christford Affadu Danful, has been granted a GH₵30,000 bail by the Adabraka Magistrate Court.
Ekow Black was granted bail over alleged domestic abuse and related offences.
The court granted him bail in the sum of GH₵30,000 with sureties.
Ekow Black is scheduled to reappear on February 10, 2026.
The Police had earlier provided details on Ekow Black, revealing he was facing fresh sextortion allegations.
The Police revealed that Ekow Black was put before the Adabraka District Court on Friday, 16th January 2026, and the judge ordered that he be remanded into police custody to reappear on 21st January 2026.
The Police update details that his remand follows ongoing investigations into the viral video and fresh allegations that the suspect threatened to circulate intimate images and engaged in acts of sextortion.
In a social media update shared by the Police on January 18, 2026, read, “UPDATE: SUSPECT REMANDED OVER VIRAL ASSAULT VIDEO AND FRESH SEXTORTION ALLEGATIONS.
The Adabraka District Court has remanded Christford Affadu Danful, also known as Ekow Black, into police custody in connection with a viral assault case and additional sextortion allegations.
The suspect was put before the Adabraka District Court on Friday, 16th January 2026, where the court, presided over by Her Worship Nana Abena Asoh Owusu Omenyo, ordered that he be remanded into police custody to reappear on 21st January 2026.
The remand follows ongoing investigations into an earlier incident captured in a viral video, as well as fresh allegations that the suspect threatened to circulate intimate images and engaged in acts consistent with sextortion”, the post added.
Meanwhile, TikToker Ekow Black was arrested following the circulation of a viral video linked to an alleged domestic assault.
Ekow Black, in the viral video, was captured assaulting his girlfriend named Racheal Oduro.
Reports suggest that TikToker Ekow Black was arrested by the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team (CVET).
According to the Police the alleged assault occurred on November 30, 2025, after an argument between the couple.
