A viral video has surfaced of some Church members busting a suspected thief who broke into their church treasury to steal.
Reports suggest the suspected thief entered the Church and pretended to be seeking a quiet time with God, only to break into the church’s treasury to loot their savings.
In the viral video, the suspected thief was given a hot slap, which landed him on the floor.
He was asked to open up the church’s treasury for them to see how he usually opens it.
SIKAOFFICIAL, who shared the post on X, wrote, “Church members nab a suspected thief, who had entered the house of God under the guise of seeking a quiet time with God before breaking into the church’s treasury and looting their savings”.
Some netizens reacting to the viral video stated, “ Their lord Jesus Christ said they should forgive 70 x 7, but they can’t even forgive a mere thief. Bunch of hypocrites”.
“Church paaa dem dey slap like that ?! Herhhh .. what happened to turning the other cheek?”, another netizen added.
Another X user claimed, “That’s a pro right there, he’s grown with it.
But crazily every thief is a liar 🤥, so when somebody lies to me, I know they can steal too”.
A netizen added, “Now the church members are angry. What’s the difference between this thief and your lying pastors that tell you to sow seeds with your cars and business monies?”
“This is totally true because I remember when I visited my grandmother in our small town, she dropped some serious wisdom on me. She said, “Grandson, one day some people will waste their time reading your comment.” Today is that day”, another X user added.
Additionally, one Ghanaian wrote, “Make them leave the guy alone. The fact that you had to slap him means you don’t know what you are doing in that church. A bunch of headless chickens”.
“He came to steal in the house of God, and you caught him, just pray for him and let him go, no need for a slap, cos u re all sinners, he might be going through something. You don’t treat people like that”, another X user added.
“Why are they slapping him and not forgiving him while preaching the word of God to help him repent and enter the kingdom?”, a netizen quizzed.
