Anas and Prophet Adom Kyei

Anas Aremeyaw Anas, an Investigative journalist, has broken his silence following rumours he was about to release an explosive investigation into Prophet Adom Kyei and Lil Win.

Reports by Barry Pulse media claim the Investigative journalist is set to release his latest investigative work on the death of a boy known as “Samsung Boy.”

According to the reports, the investigation is reportedly linked to actor Lil Win and Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.

Barry Pulse media in their post on X, January 27, 2026, stated, “Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas says he is set to release findings from an investigation into the death of a boy known as ‘Samsung Boy’. The investigation is reportedly linked to actor Lil Win and Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah”.

However, some netizen has suggested that the reports are fake as Anas Aremeyaw Anas has stated in a Facebook post.

Some Ghanaians reacting to the yet to be released investigative piece stated, “The way Anas is about to be abused himself goes shock. The members of that church are overprotective and aggressive online pass”.

Anas, please do investigation on the DL case. Is underage marriage allowed in Ghana? If in 2014 a person freely states in a company registration that she’s single but tells a high Court she got married in 2010, is that not perjury? If she was 14 in 2006, shouldn’t the marriage be void?”, a netizen added.

However, in a Facebook post on Monday, January 26, 2026, Anas debunked sharing a photo of himself and the prophet, which contained an alleged quote from him, and tagged it as FAKE.

Anas’ Facebook post has since accumulated mixed reactions from many Ghanaians who flooded the comment section on Facebook.

In related Anas news, Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, has accused Investigative Journalist  Anas Aremeyaw Anas of operating like a terrorist.

According to Kwesi Nyantakyi, he had no direct interaction with Anas during the undercover operation.

Mr Nyantakyi on Joy News claimed that Anas failed to show up in court testify against him, because whatever he did was a hoax.

Speaking on Accra-based JoyNews TV on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, Mr Nyantakyi stated, “Anas claims that he did the Number 12 exposé on me, but I never met him. He operated in the way a terrorist would in another country, and when there is a bombing somewhere, he says, ‘I am the one.’ That was what he did. So, I have nothing against him”.

“This is a man who said he has done an investigation on corruption that involved me. For five years now, he has been asked to come to court and testify against me, and he never showed up,” he said.

“This means that whatever he did is a hoax. If he believed in it, he would have come to court to be cross-examined,” he added.

“Because nobody can be condemned in this country unless you are given a fair hearing. If you have not been given that hearing, then you cannot be condemned by the law,” he said.

“I don’t think about him. I hold nothing against him. I blame myself,” he said.
