Benjamin Offei, a Ghanaian man living in Copenhagen, Denmark, has committed suicide following a DNA test which showed that all four of his children are not biologically his.
Reports suggest the Ghanaian man was found dead in a garage in Copenhagen, days after the DNA test.
According to the reports, the GH man has been in a relationship with his longtime girlfriend for about ten years before marriage and has spent nine years with his wife.
The news shared by Breeze 90.9 FM read, โA Ghanaian man identified as Benjamin Offei was reportedly found dead in a garage in Copenhagen, Denmark, days after discovering through a DNA test that the four children he had been raising were not biologically his.
According to social media posts later picked up by a Ghanaian news outlet, Offei had been in a long-term relationship with his wife for about ten years before marriage and had been married for approximately nine years.
A friend who shared the news online claimed Offei was emotionally distressed after receiving the DNA results and had called him in tears shortly before his death. The incident has sparked widespread reaction on social media, with many expressing sympathy and discussing issues of trust and honesty in relationships.

In related news, back home, a 22-year-old man and his girlfriend have been found dead in their room at Kade.
Reports suggest the 22-year-old man allegedly killed his girlfriend and committed suicide at Kade in the Kwaebibirim Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to the information gathered, the female victim was found lying in the room with visible fatal head injuries, and the male was discovered hanging.
The Police officers who arrived at the scene conducted preliminary investigations and took inventories as part of standard crime scene procedures.
Meanwhile, some residents in the vicinity trooped to the scene to catch a glimpse of the shocking incident.
The bodies of the 22-year-old man and his girlfriend have since been conveyed to the morgue for preservation and autopsy to aid investigations.
Inside sources alleged that a disagreement may have ensued between the partners, leading to a violent assault.
The Ghana Police Service has since launched a full investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The Police have also urged the public to remain calm and avoid speculation as inquiries continue.
