Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has arrived at the Amasaman High Court under heavy security provided by Prison Service officers.

Agradaa, for the first time, appeared at the Amasaman High Court for the first time without her face covered.

In a viral video shared on X, Agradaa was seen being escorted by heavy security provided by Prison Service officers without her usual face covering.

Agradaa appeared in court for her appeal against the 15-year sentence she was given for fraudulent advertising and defrauding by false pretences.

Some netizens reacting to the viral video stated, “Someone who turned black is now fair again?? Smh”.

Another netizen added, “She looks beautiful without all that lighting cream cake soap”.

“All these servicemen accompanying one non-violent offender? Them no get job do or what?”, another Ghanaian quizzed.

A netizen added, “Good that’s how it’s supposed to be.. not to conceal anybody and presume we will take that as the person ..We saw what happened in our parliament some years back”.

“I’m sure at this point, this woman will regret whatever she did that got her here. And even if she’s released, she won’t be as tough as she was pre-arrest”, one more X user added.

Also, Nana Agradaa, in an earlier court appearance on  January 21, 2026, dropped a coded message to Ghanaians.

In the viral image making rounds on social media, Agradaa was captured with a nose mask, with her head covered with a Bible quotation on her handkerchief, saying, “1 John 5:4”, and “1 John 5:10”.

A netizen who shared the news on X wrote, “Agradaa sends coded message to Ghanaians.

1 John 5:4 For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son”.

Meanwhile, Agradaa is serving a 15-year jail term after she was sentenced for two counts of defrauding by false pretences.

She was sentenced by Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah of the Circuit Court.

Agradaa was also fined GH¢300 for one count of charlatanic advertisement, with a 30-day custodial sentence in default of payment.

Her charges stem from a televised advertisement she aired in 2022.

In the ad, Agradaa claimed she has the power to double the money for her congregants at the Godsway International Heaven Church, misleading them into surrendering their money during an all-night church service at her Weija-based ministry in Accra.

The Judge, Evelyn Asamoah, highlighted that Agradaa skilfully executed the offences and showed no remorse during proceedings.
