Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, the former Member of Parliament for Tema East, has fired shots at Victoria Duncan-Williams, the younger sister of renowned Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.

It will be recalled that Victoria Duncan-Williams, during the NPP presidential primaires made shocking claims against the newly elected NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to Victoria Duncan-Williams, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia can never be president in Ghana.

The Sister of Archbishop Duncan Williams claimed that Dr Bawumia has no message for the people of Ghana.

Speaking to the media, the sister of Archbishop Duncan Williams and a disgruntled Kennedy Agyapong supporter stated, “Bawumia will never be president in Ghana, never, the man has no message, you telling me you are going to build toilets at Agboloshie you could not even do it, you have eight years to do something for the North you could not do it.

“Bawumia said he brought the drowns, he never brought the drone, he said he digital he never did that, everything Bawumia said he brought he never did. He came and met the Ghana card”.

What are you people talking about? He has no message. Bawumia is taking NPP down, just like his father took UP down. Have you heard Bawumia talking about his father before?”

“Bawumia can never be president in this country, mark it somewhere. We are 75 per cent Christians, Muslims are 14 per cent, and the other religions make up 11 per cent. There is no way a majority will allow a minority to lead, “she said.

Titus-Glover, reacting to Victoria Duncan-Williams, noted that his brother, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, would not be pleased with his sister’s comments.

He expressed his disapproval, citing that Victoria Duncan-Williams statement promotes religious division between Christians and Muslims.

Speaking in an interview on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana on February 5, 2026, Titus-Glover stated, “Look at Bishop Dr Williams’ sister. She is trying to knock the heads of Muslims and Christians together. That’s quite unfortunate. And I’m not happy, her brother, the Bishop, will not be comfortable with the statement she made”.

“A Muslim and a Christian are all children of God. Abraham gave birth to Ishmael before Isaac. They are all from God. One beautiful thing about this country is that Muslims and Christians see themselves as one people. We attend the same schools, we intermarry, and we do the same work.”

He added, “If Dr Williams’ sister is saying Christians should not vote for Dr Bawumia, then where do you draw the line? If a Muslim medical doctor is treating a Christian pregnant woman, should she refuse treatment because of religion? What kind of logic is that?

“…if, because of friendship, you want to support Kennedy Agyapong, you need to be civil. You need to speak well. You don’t create division between Muslims and Christians.”

“…when we do this, we destroy the beauty of our country. She must come back and apologise to Ghanaians. What wrong has Dr Bawumia done? Is he not a human being? Didn’t he come from the womb of a woman? It’s not nice. It’s just too bad.”
