Former AIDS Ambassador and actress Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has alleged that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) General Secretary Fifi Kwetey is the father of her son.
Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, in a viral video, alleged that Fifi Kwetey is the baby daddy of her son, who is ten years old this month and has been pleading with the NDC General Secretary for eight years to recognise his son.
According to Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, Fifi Kwetey proposed a DNA test, but the test has been pending for four years.
She further alleged that she has been pleading with Fifi Kwetey to give their son the identity he deserves, but her plea has yielded no result.
Speaking in a self-recorded video on TikTok, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah alleged, “As a mother, I come to you all with a heavy heart, to tell you to join me in pleading with Hon Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC. There is an unresolved issue between us.
I have been pleading behind closed doors for the past 10 years. Fifi Kwetey, please rescue the soul of our son. Our son is ten years old this month, and the boy is still in tears. Please let’s give our son the identity he deserves. I am not here to fight but to plead with Ghanaians to join hands with me, since my plea for the last 10 years has not yielded anything”.
“My baby daddy, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, please release the soul of our son. Ever since the boy turned two years, I have been pleading for 8 years. Sometimes I come to Ghana, then we discuss, and then you propose a DNA because apparently you still don’t trust me. The DNA test has been pending for the past four years, ever since you proposed”.
She further added, “I know that you have a good heart. I plead with Ghanaians not to make this a political issue but to see it as a child without a father. A fatherless child trying to hear the voice of his father”
Some Ghanaians reacting to her allegation stated, “Madam! We are busy with sole-sourced episodes. You can take the issue to Auntie Naa for an amicable solution”

One TikToker asked, “Please, is this Abena Korkor?”
“Let’s take our mental health seriously, ok”, one more Ghanaian added.
A TikToker added,“You, this lady, every day you have a new story”.
“Is very sad how men leave their kids with their mum to be a single parent”, a netizen added.
One netizen noted, “Now his party is in power hmmmn this lady”.
In related news, a report by the Blueprint DNA Organisation has revealed that four in 10 paternity tests conducted in Ghana in 2025 show the tested man is not the biological father.
According to Blueprint DNA, 42.3% of paternity tests conducted in 2025 showed that the tested men were not the biological fathers.
In a news card shared by JOY FM on X, it stated, “Four in 10 paternity tests in Ghana in 2025 show the tested man not the biological father – Blueprint DNA Organisation Report”
Blueprint DNA Organisation presented the findings during a media briefing at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
Abeiku Ghansah, the Medical Director of Blueprint DNA, highlighted that the report is based on anonymised laboratory data.
