He recounted that President Mahama came to solve Ghana’s problems, but many of the people he appointed do not care about the Reset Agenda.

Kwesi Pratt highlighted that President Mahama is being politically undermined by people within his own government who are more focused on succeeding him.

Speaking in an interview shared on Facebook, Kwesi Pratt fumed, “To be honest, I feel very sad for President John Dramani Mahama; the betrayal of President John Dramani Mahama is monumental”.

“This is a gentleman who came to the people of Ghana and said, ‘ Look, there are problems with the country, and I want to solve the problems in the educational sector, health sector and so on. He proclaimed a reset agenda,” he stated.

He added, “And he appointed people to assist him to realise that objective. Many of the people he appointed to help him realise that objective don’t just care. They don’t care about reset. They don’t care about restructuring the economy. All they care about is replacing him”.

“Poor Mahama. Poor Mahama. And he’s sitting there being held hostage,” he said.

“He’s not been able to crack the whip. They’re dancing around him in circles and making nonsense of all the proclamations he has made. It’s unbelievable,” Pratt added.

“Visit the NDC social media platforms and see what is happening there. Who is talking about how to achieve the 24-hour economy? That’s not their concern. It’s about who is going to replace Mahama,” he said.

“So the people he appointed to help him leave a legacy are saying to us, ‘Oh, don’t worry, very soon you’ll become a lame duck. That’s what they say. They say, ‘By next year, you’ll be a lame dog. You have no power. We don’t have to respect him. So let’s start our campaign,” he added.

In related news, Joshua Akamba, a former National Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged President John Dramani Mahama to reshuffle some arrogant ministers in government.

According to Joshua Akamba, some ministers need to be reshuffled to save the face of the Mahama government.

Joshua Akamba detailed that he has two ministers whom he thinks must be removed, but he did not mention their names.

Speaking on Atinka TV, Joshua Akamba stated, “I am saying that check the people that you’ve appointed. Where we say we must allow our institutions to work. Let no Minister try to over-influence those institutions, and he has people checking that.

For me, there are two or three ministers I would love to see being shifted from their position,” he told Atinka TV in an interview.

He added,  “It is arrogance of power, when it gets to the time…You know me, I’ve never been a coward. When it got to the time that everyone thought Nana Addo was a terrorist as a president, I spoke my mind in this country”.

Also, the Chief Executive Officer of the Buan Bay Herbal and Spiritual Centre, Dr Nana Guan Bay, has told President John Dramani Mahama to reshuffle his ministers by June 2026.

According to Dr Nana Guan Bay, President John Mahama must reshuffle his appointees by June, or else he will be embarrassed by some of his ministerial appointees.

Speaking in an interview on Nhyira FM, Dr Nana Guan Bay stated, “After the December 7 general elections, I prophesied that Mahama’s first year things will work very fine; however, in his second year, he will encounter the same challenges.

“I even mentioned some ministries, including the Ministry of Communications, at that time he had appointed Sam George as the substantive minister, so he should consider a reshuffle from June, otherwise some of his appointees will put the government in a bad light,” he remarked.

“My predictions are always true. I am certain they will come to pass. That is why I do not use the word if,” he declared.
