The NPP folks also labelled Ken Agyapong, Mr Honey Badger, arguing that he has been fighting with everyone within the NPP.

The NPP protesters called for the dismissal of Ken Agyapong. Boldly, telling him they are going to apply the same principle Ken Agyapong applied that led to the sacking of  Kwebena Agyapong and Paul Afoko.

They disclosed that the NPP made Ken Agyapong a millionaire because he was just a Taxi driver in America, but he is now killing the party.

Speaking to the media during the ‘Ken Must Go’ protest, the NPP protestor, fuming, stated, “This party is more important than him, because he was the one who told us that they should sack Kwebena Agyapong and Paul Afoko so the same law will be applied to him.

We are going to apply the same law to him, because you are killing the party. You are ungrateful to the party that made you who you are.”

The NPP protester added, “You were a taxi driver in America, and you came here and became a millionaire. The NPP made you Ken Agyaopong, so please, Mr Kennedy, Mr Honey Badger, your new name is Honey Badger because you are fighting everybody in the party. We are going to tell you that we are hyenas, and we are waiting for you outside here. If the party will not kick you out, we will kick you.

Wherever the party is holding a program, we don’t want to see you there. Go and join your base, you and Agya Koo”.

Meanwhile, there was a chaotic scene at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Executive Committee (NEC) at Alisa Hotel in Accra on Thursday, June 25, 2026, following a confrontation between security personnel and ‘Ken Must Go’ protesters.

According to eyewitness reports, security officers attempted to control the protesters gathered near the venue in a demonstration linked to internal party grievances.

Reports suggest the disturbance involved rival groups of supporters, with some chanting “Ken Must Go”.

The protesters, who were dressed in red headbands, later confronted Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin and attempted to block his vehicle when he attempted to leave the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

The chaotic scene quickly escalated, resulting in a physical altercation between some individuals and the supporters who were trying to prevent Afenyo-Markin’s vehicle from leaving.

Viral videos circulating on social media captured scenes of supporters chanting slogans, “Ken Must Go”.

The Ken Must Go’ protesters demanded the sacking of Ken Agyapong from the NPP, arguing that the party can do without him.
