He claimed that the only thing President Mahama can do is to fly a helicopter, look at it and feel sad.

The Gomoa Central MP further argued that MPs like John Dumelo, good guys, may wear boots and walk around pretending to solve the problem, but they can’t do anything.

He stressed that if the rain stops, that will be all and next year, Ghanaians will meet again having the same conversation.

Speaking in a self-recorded video, A Plus stated, “The truth is simple. Yesterday it rained, and the place got flooded. The only thing we can get is for the President to fly in a helicopter, look at it and feel sad. That is all we can get”.

“Then you will get MPs like John Dumelo pretending they can do something, but he cannot do anything. There is not much he can do. The rain we are talking about is just today and tomorrow; if the rain stops, that is all. Next year, we will meet here and have the same conversation,” the lawmaker said.

He continued, “You people have a problem and politicians will never solve it,” he asserted.

Meanwhile, JOYNEWS Evans Mensah has launched a scathing attack on Ghanaian politicians following the June 29 flood tragedy that claimed the lives of Ghanaians, destroying homes and properties.

According to Evans Mensah, Ghanaian politicians must bow their heads in shame, apologise and resign.

He disclosed that Ghanaian politicians have been using the same script and templates whenever the country floods, citing President John Mahama’s aerial inspection of flood-affected areas.

Evans Mensah highlighted that President Mahama, who supervised the June 4 flood disaster, set up a committee, looked into it, and told Ghanaians all manner of things, but nothing was done, stressing that the same template has been initiated with his aerial inspections.

Speaking on JOYNEWS, Evans Mensah stated, “If you are a politician, watch this; we voted for you; don’t bow your head in shame; issue an apology; resign; then I don’t know what is wrong with you. You don’t deserve to be there in the first place.

If you are a politician, a member of parliament, you have been voted for, in opposition or in authority; if you don’t bow your head in shame tonight, apologise and resign, then I have nothing else to tell you.

Did you hear the president when we played that tape? He used the word intensify that was 2015, 2026. His minister who toured with him in a helicopter is using the same words: intensify.”

Evans Mensah added, “He joined his boss who was there before, and superintendent over the June 4 flood disaster; set up a committee, looked into it, told us all manner of things, as you heard there; nothing happened again they went to expect, which really is the script.

They will expect; they will go round, either by helicopter or in person; they will set up a committee; they will now issue a report and make statements; it is a template, and then they will say bombastic things like intensify, drastic, criticised the citizen. After one week, they will go to bed, and we will all go to sleep and wait till next year.

The president did exactly that: the script he started it, inspection which is the template”.
