One of the victims featured in Manasseh Azure Awuni’s investigative documentary, Inside the Dreaded Headmaster’s Bungalow, has recounted an alleged sexual abuse incident involving the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School (Obuasi SHTS).

The victim, identified as Victim B, described how the headmaster allegedly subjected her to sexual abuse while she was in his bungalow. She also recounted how school authorities allegedly failed to take action even after she reported the incident.

Speaking in the documentary, Victim B alleged that the headmaster gave her oil and instructed her to stroke his private parts. When she refused, he allegedly threatened her, reminding her that he had locked her inside the bungalow and that nobody knew she was there.

“He gave me oil and asked me to stroke his private parts. When I refused, he reminded me that he had locked me in and nobody knew I was in his bungalow, threatening that he could kill me and nobody would find out. He ejaculated four times before allowing me to leave,” she recounted.

Her account forms part of the allegations presented in the documentary, which examines claims of sexual abuse involving the headmaster and raises questions about how school authorities responded to complaints from students.

Some netizens reacting to the victim’s revelation stated, “Why is it that even with multiple accusations of heinous crimes, he was not taken into police custody yet teachers were arrested by the District Police Command for allegedly instigating students?”

“This man is a Mephistophelean person, and he doesn’t deserve to be tolerated in any environment.

How could you go beyond your stupidity and play such atrocious tactics just to compel these girls to have sex with you?

He needs to face the repercussions of his inappropriate act

The authorities were eager to protect a criminal yet failed the actual victims”, one X user added.

A netizen added, “School authorities failed to act even after she spoke up.”

Pay attention to this statement. This shows how many girls in school are in danger. The painful thing is that some of these people have children too. What kind of wickedness is this”.

In related news, Manasseh Azure Awuni has disclosed that the number of students who have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse involving the suspended headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School has risen from 16 to 19.

According to Manasseh Azure, three additional students had reportedly come forward.

Speaking on JoyNews’ The Probe on Sunday, October 18, Manasseh Azure stated, “From yesterday, my sources at the school told me the number has grown to 19. So way more names have come up, and it is likely there will be more, because some didn’t give a report”.

It will be recalled that on Thursday, October 15, Manasseh Azure, speaking on Joy FM Inside the Dreaded Headmaster’s Bungalow, said the initial information he received concerned five students; however, the number increased to 14 when he visited the school to investigate.

“I’ve been to Obuasi twice. First in 2018, and this is my second time visiting Obuasi. The first visit was about allegations of sexual assault in the same school,” he said.

Manasseh explained that after returning from studies abroad, he received a message from a source at the school indicating that the situation had worsened.

Meanwhile, the case involving the Headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School, Zakaria Abdulai, popularly known as Paapaa, has taken a new turn after the case docket was forwarded to the Attorney-General’s Office for study and advice.

The Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ashanti South Regional Police Command in Bekwai has forwarded the case docket to the Attorney-General’s Office for study and advice.

The police disclosed that a 20-year-old Form Two student of the school, accompanied by her father, lodged a complaint at the Obuasi DOVVSU on August 4, 2026.
