Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has fired Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the Founder and Spiritual Leader of Asomdwee Ntonton Som.
Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh had controversially stated that no person in Ghana has been sent by God as a prophet.
According to him, the self-proclaimed prophets in Ghana are not from God.
Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh claimed, “They are never from God, but they derive their powers from the universe, specifically the rainbow.
There are powers that are used by fetish priests, mallams and the prophets. They conjure the powers from the rainbow to perform their wonders”.
However, Rev Owusu-Bempah has rubbished Somafo’s claims and threw a challenge to his fellow man of God to face him in a prophetic battle.
Rev Owusu-Bempah, in a viral video on social media, stated, “Someone said there is no prophet in Ghana? You said you are the last prophet? You’re mad. He said he is the last messiah and the last prophet! He is truly mad.
“He alleges that there’s no prophet in Ghana! If he likes, he should come and face me. They always behave this way, but when I throw a challenge, they run away,” he added.
He further stated, “I understand that he has established a ministry in one of the Fantse communities; he should just come and face me… now I want to be gentle, but if I were in my past element, I would have moved straight to go and face him.”
In a related news on prophecies, Prophet Kofi Oduro, the General Overseer of Alabaster International Ministries, has fired shots at the Presidential Envoy on Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, following his calls for the submission of prophecies to his office for review.
According to Prophet Kofi Oduro, the prophecy door must be shut, as Ghana does not need an office for reviewing prophecies.
He asserted that Ghana needs hospitals, schools and roads, but the government is opening doors for nonsense.
Speaking to his congregation, Prophet Oduro stated, “We are here talking nonsense. If someone receives a prophecy, he should bring it. What kind of nonsense is that? Do you know the nonsense prophecies some people want to prophesy?
Shut that door, we don’t need it, we need Hospitals, we need schools, look at the rubbish roads we have, and you are opening a table for what nonsense”, he added.
In addition, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has told Ghanaian Prophets that their prophecies about death are enough.
According to Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, his office was not set only for receiving prophecies.
Elvis Afriyie Ankrah asserted that if the prophet receives prophecy about Ghana becoming like Malaysia, Singapore or South Korea, then come see me.
The Presidential Envoy on Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations is quoted by GH ONE TV to have said, “Enough of your death prophecies, my office isn’t for receiving prophecies”.
“I’m praying for the day our prophets and seers will have a vision of a Ghana that is transformed and prosperous. If you have any prophecy about Ghana becoming like Malaysia, Singapore or South Korea, then come see me”.
