A viral video of two police officers and a soldier engaging in a heated brawl has surfaced on social media.
In the viral video shared on X, the two police officers accused the soldier of wrongful overtaking.
The heated confrontation between two police officers and a soldier nearly escalated into a physical fight after one of the police officers claimed that the soldier, who was driving, had run over his foot during a wrongful overtaking.
Some Ghanaians have reacted to the viral video, saying, “So unprofessional.
This could have been resolved maturely as service men.
All Ghana police and military personnel need to undergo continuous training and be abreast with the law and how to act professionally.
Personnel of both institutions must undergo compulsory training yearly on their code of ethics so as to know the 3 “W’s”: When, Where Why.
It’s becoming one too many.
They ought to know that when the nation’s security architecture is compromised, the citizens are the ones who suffer”.
“Civilians ensuring there are peace between peacekeepers. Joke country”, a netizen added.
One netizen added, “People are saying the police should act professionally. Chale, if they use a car to run over your leg, ah, are you sure you will be professional?If the police had run over the soldier’s leg, do you think he would be professional too ??”
“Another police and soldier case. At this point, the government should organise a friendly fight for them”, another X user added.
One more netizen added, “You can see the police officers behaving unprofessionally towards the army officer. Acting like ordinary civilians. Something both parties would have done it in a professional way”.
