Vincent Ekow Assafuah, the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, has urged fellow NPP members to be united and capitalise on social media to garner support for the party ahead of the 2028 elections.
According to Vincent Ekow Assafuah, Social media will play 40 to 50 per cent of the 2028 elections, and if the NPP lose on social media, they are doomed.
He emphasised that if the NPP fails to win the 2028 presidential election, Ghana is going to have Asiedu Nketiah as president.
Speaking to some NPP members during a meeting in a video shared on social media, the Old Tafo MP explained, “It was difficult for us to break the eighth understood, let us understand that perspective, but as a serious election is a process is not an event that you wait till 2024 and go and win an election. You have to start from now and see what happens tomorrow”.
He added, “How many of us today even pick up our phones to defend the NPP on our social media platforms? NDC won social media because one person can take his or her phone and create 20 accounts.
The young people among us must take social media as a strategic means for us to bounce back as a party. Social media will play 40 to 50 per cent of the 2028 elections; if we lose there, we will have a problem”.
Vincent Ekow Assafuah highlighted, “After the 31st January elections, some people here support Bawumia, others support Ken, and that is okay because we are all party people.
“Anybody who knows my political lineage knows that I am close to NAPO and since NAPO is close to Ken, I am also close to Ken. But that does not mean I will support him. It is not because I dislike him, but I just won’t stand anywhere and speak ill of Ken,” he said.
He added, “After the elections, we need everyone on board to ensure we win the 2028 Election. We are pleading with you, going forward. If we fail, we will have His Excellency Asiedu Nketiah as president.”
In related news, Prophet Telvin Sowah, a Ghanaian man of God, has boldly prophesied that the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, will become Ghana’s president in 2028.
According to Prophet Telvin Sowah, Asiedu Nketia will become Ghana’s president in 2028 and will serve for two terms.
He emphasised that the New Patriotic Party in 2028 will garner 44.78 per cent in the election, with the NDC winning by 53 per cent.
Speaking in an interview on Accra FM, shared on TikTok, Prophet Telvin Sowah stated, “NPP results 2028, 44.78 per cent, NDC presidential results are 53 per cent. Asiedu Nketia will be the president of Ghana in 2028, and he will serve for 8 years”.
Prophet Telvin Sowah further added that Nana Kwame Bediako of the New Force will one day become Ghana’s president, adding that Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kyeremanten will also team up.
He added, “Nana Kwame Bediako will become the president of Ghana; it is merged in time, Kennedy Agyapong will team up with Alan Kyeremanten to shake the NPP for 2032 and in that condition, they will still lose the elections”.
Even if Kennedy Agyapong wins the flagbearer elections, he will still not get up to 36 per cent of the total vote. There is no possibility of a time when Ken became a running mate and they went for the election; it does not exist in time. But in the original space of the timeline, there is no possibility that Kennedy Agyapong will win the election; it is done and dusted. He will not win the flagbearership election, so he will not be able to contest for the election”, the man of God highlighted
