Prince Nkrumah, also known as Sir Skinny, an ICT teacher at Ansah Redeemed Basic School in Assin Fosu, has allegedly died by suicide.

According to reports, the ICT Teacher’s suicide is suspected to be over a broken heart.

The information gathered from sources says he took a weedicide after the woman he had supported through nursing school ended their relationship upon graduation.

Prince Nkrumah was found lifeless in his room after failing to report to school.

He was found dead with a note believed to be from him, reportedly asking his family for forgiveness.

In a related relationship news, Mabel Asantewaa, a 26-year-old fashion designer, has been stabbed to death by her boyfriend after refusing him sex.

According to reports, the incident happened at Kalabule Chinese, near the Kasoa Tollbooth, in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The suspect, identified as Sammy, a 29-year-old carpenter, reportedly killed the deceased when he became violent after a brief argument over a sex request, and the victim declined.

Bra Sammy then reportedly stabbed Mabel Asantewaa several times, leading to her death.

He is said to have ingested poison afterwards, but later drank palm oil to counter its effect.

Neighbours said Sammy later called for help, leading residents to break into the room where Mabel was found in a pool of blood while the suspect lay weak on the bed.

Sammy, who was recently homeless and taken in by Mabel, had been in the relationship for less than three months.

He is currently under police guard, receiving treatment at the Amanfrom Polyclinic as investigations continue.

Meanwhile, the Accra Regional Police Command has begun investigations into the death of 26-year-old Mabel Asantewaa.

The Police statement revealed that preliminary findings indicated that the suspect, identified as Samuel, had allegedly attacked Mabel in her room and stabbed her in the neck.

Samuel later attempted suicide by ingesting a poisonous substance and was discovered unconscious and rushed to the Kasoa Polyclinic.

According to the statement, medical officials have confirmed that he was stable but unconscious.

The Accra Regional Police Command revealed that the Crime Scene Management Team has taken over the case to conduct a detailed forensic investigation.
