The General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, has said the former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team wanted him to prophesy for their candidate.

According to the man of God, he boldly told them Kennedy Agyapong had already won the NPP presidential primaries ahead of the 2026 elections.

Prophet ElBernard asserted that Akosua Manu, an NPP parliamentary candidate in the 2024 election, was the one asked to sway him to prophesy in favour of Dr Bawumia, adding that he declined a meeting with the former vice president.

The man of God is quoted as saying, “Team Bawumia wanted me to prophesy for DMB, but I told them that Ken has already won.  Akosua Manu was the one charged with leading talks to sway me to Dr Bawumia, but I stood firm and declined a meeting with Dr Bawumia.

Also, some months ago, Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun predicted that Kennedy Agyapong would be the NPP’s 2028 flagbearer.

In a Facebook post on May 3, 2025, Prophet ElBernard wrote, “I will see and hear a confidential discussion among the elite, prominent figures in politics and members of parliament… They will be deliberating, asking, “Can he lead our party? Does he have what it takes?” And many among them will say, “We will not support his candidacy.”

“I will see a group of passionate young people who have embraced the vision and message of Kennedy Agyapong. They will be energized, rallying others to join the movement. It will grow rapidly, with youth from all political backgrounds uniting around him. Some will even leave their former parties, seeing their future in his leadership,” he wrote.

He added, “In the conclusion of the vision, I will witness Kennedy Ohene Agyapong elected as the flagbearer of the party. A new movement will emerge, one that brings renewed strength, unity, and energy to the New Patriotic Party. I will marvel at how the choice of one man could revive the party and prepare it with vigor for the 2028 election”.

Also, Prophet Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, has dropped a prophecy ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) January 31 presidential elections.

The man of God declared that the NPP with Kennedy Ohene Agyapong will win the 2028 elections, but the party with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will lose the elections.

Speaking on Angel FM, Prophet Roja stated, “Kennedy first, Bawumia second, that is the win for 2028, but Bawumia first, Kennedy second, a loss for 2028, 100 per cent loss. When you say it like this, they do not listen because they do not regard you.

Prophet Roja had earlier stated that the NPP’s presidential primaries results would be different from the arrangements on the ballot paper positions.

He highlighted that the results will shock Ghanaians, as there is going to be a silent victory for one of the candidates.

Speaking in a viral video following the party’s balloting for the presidential primaries, Prophet Roja stated, “There would be rearrangements, definitely there would be rearrangements. Whether we like it or not, the results would be different from the arrangements on the ballot paper positions – the number two position would certainly change, you can record what I’m saying, save it somewhere”.

“It is going to shock people; it will be a silent win. There will be issues. The person leading has already won, but before the announcement, things will change. I have said this before, and I’m just reiterating.

Prophet Roja further noted that the NPP’s presidential primaries will be a tough one.

 “The race is going to be very hot, and one person will be in pole position to win, but results from a few places will change everything”.

He added, “It is only four regions that would turn the election, and they are the Greater Accra Region, the Central Region, the Ashanti Region and the Eastern Region”.
