Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, popularly known as the Eagle Prophet of the General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, has dropped a revelation ahead of Daddy Lumba’s funeral.
Eagle Prophet warns that there will be several deaths and accidents during Daddy Lumba’s funeral.
He told sympathisers and well-wishers who will be attending the funeral should be cautious.
In a viral video shared on social media on December 4, 2025, Prophet Eagle stated, “There are so many things hanging around this funeral, and if care is not taken, four people will die after they bury Lumba, so Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni should be very careful”.
“Also, during the burial ceremony, a man will go and watch the body, faint, and die the same day during the burial ceremony. This is bound to happen during the ceremony.
“Something will happen to one of his children, and after that, someone will collapse. Those attending Lumba’s funeral should be very careful because death is ahead of a lot of them, even during and after the burial,” he added.
In related news, the eldest daughter of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, Denise Lady Ama Saah Fosu, has for the first time spoken about her father’s burial slated for December 13, 2025.
Denise Lady Ama Saah Fosu, speaking to Ghanaians in a viral video at the late musician’s East Legon residence, invited fans and the general public to her father’s funeral at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on 13th December 2025.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Denise Lady Ama Saah Fosu stated, “Hello, my name is Denise Lady Ama Saah Fosu, the eldest daughter of the late Charles Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba. I’m here, representing my entire family today.
We’d like to kindly invite you to my father’s funeral, which will take place on the 13th December in Kumasi. We wish all well-wishers and mourners to join us to celebrate his life.”
Meanwhile, the Kumasi High Court has declared Akosua Serwaah Fosuh and Priscilla Ofori, popularly known as Odo Broni, as the surviving spouses of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba.
The court presided over by Justice Dorinda Smith‑Arthur ruled that Akosua Serwaa cannot be declared the sole surviving spouse, as the evidence she provided did not affirm her claims.
During proceedings on Friday, November 28, evidence showed Odo Broni was customarily married to Daddy Lumba before his passing.
The court also highlighted that Akosua Serwaa was customarily married to Daddy Lumba, but rejected her alleged German marriage certificate presented as it was not an original certificate.
The court ruled that both Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni are recognised as surviving wives of Daddy Lumba and must be acknowledged by the Abusuapanyin in the performance of the widowhood rites.
The plaintiff, Akosua Serwaa Fosu, was seeking a court declaration that she is the only surviving wife of the late musician, allowing her to have exclusive authority to carry out all widowhood rituals.
She was also demanding that the court restrain Odo Broni from falsely claiming to be the late singer’s wife.
