Kennedy Agyapong, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate hopeful, has replied crtics who claimed his English is bad.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, when his critics tell Ghanaians his English cannot get loans from the IMF, they should tell them Ghanaians need employment, not loans.
Kennedy Agyapong is quoted by GHOne to have said, “When they say my English can’t get Ghana loans from IMF, tell them Ghanaians need employment, not loans”.
Some netizens reacting to Kennedy Agyapong’s remarks stated, “This man speaks to real issues. Ghanaians don’t wake up craving IMF loans; they want jobs, dignity, and opportunity. Leadership is about production, not dependency. That clarity is refreshing and necessary at this moment in our politics”.

One more X user added, “English is the language of colonial criminals. When uncivilised British criminals colonised Ghana, they forced GH to speak English for governance affairs so they could know what we do & control…70+yrs after they left, we’re still reporting to criminals by speaking English. Adɛn?”
In related news, Kennedy Agyapong has said Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, does not exist in his life.
According to the former Assin Central MP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is behind Abronye and co who have been insulting him.
Speaking on UTV, Kennedy Agyapong stated, “I can survive with anything; I do not have time for them, but that does not mean they have to rig the election. I believe in the structures, and I know all the Electoral Commission officials my opponents have engaged with. They plan to use the party’s internal security to humiliate anyone who comes close,”
“I do not have time for Bawumia; in my life, he doesn’t exist. What Abronye and co is doing, Bawumia is behind it, but I just don’t want to say anything; all those insulting me, he knows them, but I don’t want to say anything”.
He further recounted a prior incident at the residence of former President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The former lawmaker added, “Some time ago, something happened at the residence of former President Akufo-Addo. I mentioned a certain man’s name; there was nobody there when I left. The next day, it was posted on social media, but I do not have anything against anybody”.
When asked if he will campaign for Dr Bawumia or not if he emerges victorious, Kennedy Agyapong added, “Did I not campaign for him during the recent election? After that, did he even call me to appreciate my efforts? His followers were even insulting me. The only loyal person from his camp was NAPO. I took him to my warehouse and gave out items freely. He had young boys who claimed that I never campaigned”.
Kennedy Agyapong further revealed he does not listen to social media and the news as he remains focused on his goals.
“Do you know what helps me? I don’t listen to social media, I don’t listen to the news, I stay focused”, he added.
