Nana Ama McBrown, a popular Ghanaian actress and television presenter, has announced she has divorced her husband, Maxwell Mensah.
Speaking on TV3 New Day, Nana Ama McBrown revealed she has divorced from her husband of twelve years, Maxwell Mensah, and she is now the happiest.
Nana Ama McBrown stated, “I’m the most happiest right now. I have gone through a divorce. Yes, I am divorced. I am, and I am not ashamed to say, but I did so beautifully. Me and my husband are cool. We spoke yesterday, we speak today, we speak tomorrow, we meet, I go to our house [to see] my in-laws and everything.
Look, I am a happy woman. We are the best of friends. We didn’t go through it like the bitter ones. I was tired, he was tired. We sat down, and we said Let’s talk about it. Let’s move on,” she said.
She added, “He is a correct guy. I still feel him, but I got tired of the marriage. I will not marry again. I can give birth again, but I won’t marry again”.
“I have married for 12 years. When you see celebrities that has married for 12 years, applaud them,” she added.
It will be recalled that rumours were going around that the couple were experiencing difficulties in their marriage.
Some social media users alleged that Maxwell Mensah extra marital affairs contributed to the breakdown of the relationship.
The two were married for 12 years and blessed with a daughter called Maxine.
Some netizens reacting to the news stated, “good…if the marriage is not working, get out and go live your life….there is no reward for suffering in a bad marriage…except for misery”.
A netizen added, “Peace and sanity of mind, self-love is paramount. If your marriage has gotten to an irreparable stage, just call it a quit amicably. May both parties find happiness afterwards”.
One X user added, “In real life, she is never happy …her smile is just for the camera…Sometimes these celebrities go through a lot, but because of their social status, they keep mute. She cries aloud when she is home nd alone. Hmmmm life”
