Charles Owiredu, a former Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Abirem, has broken his silence following multiple viral videos of a Russian man with Ghanaian women.
According to the former Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Affairs Minister and the Minister of Interior must explain.
He detailed that no one enters Ghana without clearance and questioned who approved the Russian man’s visa.
Charles Owiredu further quizzed whether his visa was issued in Moscow or in Accra.
In a social media post on X, Charles Owiredu wrote, “As a former Deputy Foreign Minister and an Ambassador, I can say with authority that no one enters Ghana without clearance.
Who approved the visa? Was it issued in Moscow or in Accra?
What checks were done?
The Foreign Affairs Minister and the Minister of Interior must explain.
Our women deserve better”.
Meanwhile, the face of the Russian man identified as Yaytseslav has surfaced on social media following his viral video of his encounters with multiple Ghanaian women.
Gossips 24 TV in a post, however, indicated that Yaytseslav may not be his real name, as he is called Vyacheslav Trahov.
The Russian man, in multiple videos, showed him wooing Ghanaian women around Accra Mall, filming them and then taking them to his apartment without showing his face.
In a viral video shared on X, the Russian man was seen walking in a hallway with a darkshades on.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian social media, particularly X, has been thrown into chaos after a Yaytseslav released multiple videos of him wooing Ghanaian women into his bed.
The information gathered also suggests the Russian man didn’t start his dealings in Ghana, but started from other African countries.
According to reports, Yaytseslav, the Russian man, mostly target women from the Accra Mall were he engages with shoppers while recording their interaction, exchanging contacts, and the next thing you know, the women are visiting him in his hotel room.
Reports suggest the Russian man’s moments, from his first contact to private settings, are reportedly documented and turned into content for his audience on multiple social media platforms.
Yaytseslav is said to run active social media pages on TikTok and YouTube, where he posts summary-style videos of these encounters.
Social media users claim there are over 40 videos involving Ghanaian women across these public platforms.
Also, beyond the public posts, Yaytseslav operate a private subscription channel on Telegram, with one having to pay around 400 Russian Rubles, roughly $5 per month.
The situation has garnered reactions, with many questioning issues of privacy, consent, and the apparent monetisation of these encounters. Several users have called on the Ghana Police Service to step in.
