A Ghanaian man and his Nigerian girlfriend, living in Morocco has been found dead in their apartment.
The Ghanaian man has been identified as Kassin Awudu.
Reports suggest that Kassin Awudu’s friends went to check on him after being unable to reach him, only to find the two lifeless inside.
In a post shared by CDR Africa stated, “A Ghanaian man, identified as Kassin Awudu, and his Nigerian girlfriend have been found dead in their apartment in Morocco.
His friends went to check on him after being unable to reach him, and with the landlord, forced the apartment door open, only to find the couple lifeless inside.
The cause of death is still unknown as efforts continue to trace their families”.
In related news, Michael Ababio, an 18-year-old Ghanaian man abroad, has been stabbed to death.
According to reports, the Ghanaian abroad was stabbed outside a library in Coventry, UK.
Reports suggest Michael Ababio was fatally injured outside Foleshill Library on Broad Street at about 21:40 GMT on Sunday.
He was later pronounced dead in hospital early on Monday morning, according to the West Midlands Police.
Also, a 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stab wounds after being found nearby.
The 19-year-old was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
The late Michael Ababio’s brother paid tribute on behalf of his family, saying, “He aligned with everything that I liked. Words cannot express the pain we are all feeling right now.”
The BBC, in a new report, stated, “In a tribute released through police, Ababio’s twin said most people won’t know what it is like to have a twin, but I do”.
“Michael was more than just a brother, he was my second half.”
The sibling also said, “You will be greatly missed. Our family will never be the same, but we hope you’re in a better place now.”
Detective Superintendent Jim Munro, from the force’s homicide team, said: “If you saw what happened, or you know why someone may have wanted to hurt Michael, please do the right thing for his family and let us know.”
Police are also investigating further disorder that happened on nearby Foleshill Road about 20 minutes after the fatal attack – although the force does not believe that incident is directly related to Ababio’s death.
Four people have been arrested in connection with that disorder.
One has since been charged with assault and remanded in custody. The others have been bailed while the investigation continues”.
