Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries, has boldly stated that God’s blessings are on Ghana under President John Dramani Mahama.
According to Rev Owusu Bempah, Ghana’s recent economic stability is a clear indication that the blessings of God are upon Ghana.
He cited that a year ago, during the festive period, the dollar to a cedi was at 17 cedis, but today it is around 11 cedis.
The man of God stressed that many Ghanaians were able to enjoy the holiday period more than in previous years due to reduced financial hardship in the country.
Speaking to his congregation during his church’s 2025 Christmas celebration, Rev Owusu Bempah stated.
“Look at the blessings of God upon Ghana; whether you like it or not, it is a fact that cannot be denied. Look at the cedi’s performance against the dollar this Christmas it is around 11 cedis. This Christmas, Ghanaians have really enjoyed this year’s Christmas because of good leadership. I’m not doing politics, I am speaking facts,” he remarked.
“We have seen a difference because the President and his Vice President can pray for over two hours for Ghana. The President believes in God, he believes in divinity, and the way I see it, Ghana is going to get better,” he added.
Also, Global InfoAnalytics has announced that a new national tracking poll has revealed majority of Ghanaians feel their standard of living has improved over the past year.
According to Global InfoAnalytics, 56% of respondents said their standard of living has improved compared to last year.
However, 27% reponded stated their standard of living remained unchanged, with 12% reported a decline, and 5% had no opinion.
Also, 70% of voters expressed confidence that their standard of living will improve in 2026.
The poll also revealed that 66 per cent of Ghanaians are satisfied with the 2026 budget presented by Finance Minister, Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, with 18 per cent dissatisfied and 16 per cent neutral.
The Global InfoAnalytics poll also revealed 60% feel the government is doing enough to fight corruption.
On galamsey, 47% said the menace has not worsened under the President John Mahama administration.
Meanwhile, Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) member and Energy expert, has claimed that under President John Dramani Mahama’s first Christmas, many Ghanaians cannot afford a fowl.
According to Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku, businesses in the market have been very slow.
He argued that inflation, whether it is 6 per cent or 24 percent the reality is that prices are still high.
Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku, speaking on the current state of the Ghanaian economy, stated, “Things are very tough. When you go to the market, you realise that business is very slow. The government says the economy is doing well and that there is no hardship, but that is not the situation on the ground,” he said.
“They talk about inflation, whether it is 6 per cent or 24 percent but inflation is inflation. The reality is that prices are still high,” he stated.
“I thought by now kenkey would be selling at two cedis, but it is still five cedis. This is the first Christmas under this government, yet some people cannot even afford to buy a fowl. We are not feeling the reset agenda. Things are still hard,” he added.
