Some cast members of the hit Ghanaian TV series YOLO have called on Ghanaians to help raise funds to support their fellow actor John Peasah, commonly known as Drogba.

In a viral video shared by Bongo Ideas on X, the cast of YOLO announced they have come together to call on Ghanaians to support them as they seek funds to support their brother, who needs urgent medical care and medicine to manage his condition.

They called on the general public, NGO’s and the government to donate to the official GoFundMe account or send support via Momo 0502776169.

The YOLO cast is appealing for financial support as Drogba continues to battle demyelinating disorder.

A condition that damages the protective covering of nerves in the brain, eyes, and spinal cord.

Also, Bongo Ideas in his post added his voice saying, “John Peasah (Drogba) is at a critical stage of his health condition. The supposed healing prayers by some pastors did not work. His health has significantly worsened, and he is now in critical condition.

All Ghanaians need to DONATE to SAVE him now before it’s too late”.

It will be recalled that news broke in August 2024 that Drogba reportedly received spiritual healing from Christ Embassy Airport City Youth Church (CECY) Pastor Enoch Ofori Boamah during a Night Miracle Service.

Drogba’s sister testified in church that he was healed; however, a few weeks later, Actor John Peasah clarified that he did not receive an instant healing from the church miracle.

According to him, he felt slightly better after the service, but his condition did not disappear immediately.

The news about his healing, according to reports, affected donations to his $280,000 fundraiser.

Meanwhile, Drogba has told Ghanaians to stop sending him invites to church.

In a social media post on Instagram, John Peasah revealed he has received so many to attend church service and pleaded with Ghanaians not to send more.

According to him, it’s not about comparing power or influence but about his well-being.

In his post, he wrote, “In the name of God, I humbly request that you please keep me away from any further invitations to other churches. My DM is getting full of invites. This isn’t about comparing power or influence; it’s about my well-being. I’ve been through a lot and want to avoid any more controversy”.

He further revealed he believes in God’s miracles and power, but he needs help to get the medical treatment.

“I’ve moved forward and am grateful to have had the chance to clear things up. I believe in God’s miracles and power, and I pray for healing. Please help me get the medical treatment I need during this time,” he said.
