Stephen Amoah, the Nhyiaeso Member of Parliament have shared details of his sources of wealth beyond his parliamentary income.

According to Stephen Amoah, he has money but does not brag about it.

The Nhyiaeso MP revealed that he runs a lot of businesses as he is an entrepreneur, consultant, and sells 207 buses.

Speaking in an interview on GHOne TV, Stephen Amoah detailed, “I have money. I work hard, I don’t brag. [I do] plenty of things. I’m an entrepreneur and consultant, and I sell 207 [buses]. My office is in Labone, and I just moved.

“I do small construction, and have a football club; I run a pharmacy shop. I work hard. I don’t sleep… I’m very playful… I don’t even have friends I move around with,” he said.

Stephen Amoah further revealed, “I’m a serious person. I’m over 50 years. I have a PhD and doing law. I don’t rest,” he disclosed. “People should stop tagging and insulting other people,” he added.

In related news, Stephen Amoah has tackled former Adansi-Asokwa Member of Parliament, KT Hammond, over Kennedy Agyapong’s source of wealth.

KT Hammond, during  Stephen Amoah’s  one-on-one interview on Asempa FM, sent a text message to the host, which read, “OB ask him, so where did he get all this money from, from America?”

Reacting to KT Hammond’s question, Stephen Amoah labelled the former Adansi-Asokwa Member of Parliament’s question as ‘hate speech’.

He argued that KT Hammond served as a minister and is a senior member of the NPP, but never raised concerns about Kennedy Agyapong’s wealth until today.

Stephen Amoah detailed, “Respectfully, KT Hammond is my senior, but his word is hate speech. How can you say someone should come and answer questions about how Kennedy Agyapong made his money?”

The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso questioned KT Hammond why he did not ensure Kennedy was arrested if his source of wealth was not clean.

“He has been a friend to Kennedy Agyapong. If Kennedy had stolen money before and KT Hammond had been a minister and a leader in the NPP, why did he sit down and not ensure that Kennedy was arrested?” Sticka asked.

Stephen Amoah further defended Kennedy Agyapong’s background, asserting that the NPP flagbearer aspirant and former lawmaker rose from simple beginnings through legitimate means.

According to him, Kennedy Agyapong started as a poor, humble beginner and has never been arrested before.

“What I know is that Kennedy Agyapong started as a poor, humble beginner. Kennedy sold items on the streets and worked; they say Kennedy did some green cards and visas for people. I don’t have details about that, but in any way, I don’t think he did anything illegal because he has never been arrested before. KT Hammond is a lawyer, and he knows no one is guilty until proven by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Sticka questioned, “Kennedy Agyapong has worked for years. When the NDC came, have you heard of the NDC inviting or arresting Kennedy Agyapong before?”

“All I know is that Kennedy Agyapong has been helping the party since the 90s, and NPP was never in power over the years and has opened businesses where many people are working,” he added.
