Kennedy Agyapong, the flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has boldly declared he will not apologise to any fake pastor he criticised in the past.
The former lawmaker emphasised that his actions in the past were to correct some pastors’ wrongdoing within the church.
According to Ken Agyapong, his confrontations helped to correct certain misconduct among some pastors he claimed were allegedly duping church members.
Speaking to members of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church over the weekend, Mr Agyapong explained, “Someone said I should apologise to some of the pastors I spoke against. But I said that if I apologise to them, it means I won’t lead the country truthfully if I become president.
Some of these pastors have come to my house to apologise. If they had done the right thing, would they have sent people to my house to apologise?” he quizzed.
Mr Agyapong further added, “One of them was doing an illegal connection, and I made sure the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) disconnected the lights until he paid his bills.
Another one had taken someone’s property, and I ensured the property was returned to its rightful owner. So, it is not today or tomorrow that I will apologise to any fake pastor. And it is not because I want to be president that I will go and apologise. I am not an antichrist, I believe in God”, he added.
Recall that Kennedy Agyapong in the past launched a crusade to expose what he described as fake pastors in Ghana.
Mr Agyapong’s on his Hot Seat show on Net 2 TV targeted Prophet Nigel Gaisie, leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, and Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder and leader of International God’s Way Church, and other men of God he claimed were fake.
Meanwhile, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP), cautioning against selecting Kennedy Agyapong as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
Nigel Gaise labelled Ken Agyapong as an” anti-Christ,” and warned the NPP that the Christian community and prophets are spiritually prepared to resist his candidacy.
In a social media message on June 25, 2025, Nigel Gaisie wrote, “You can’t attack the churches of God and innocent prophets and expect to be WHATTTT..*FLAGBEARER**…OKAY…..WE ARE WAITING….GOD HAS SPOKEN TO US….WE ARE WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO SPEAK AND WORK”.
WE WILL PROVE THE POWER OF GOD AND THE PROPHETS. Some of my Prophet friends have died because of your **lies, attacks and loose talks**. WE ARE WATCHING AND WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO STRIKE. Indeed, you are one of the major reasons why we FOUGHT THE NPP WITH OUR ALL(Spiritually and Physically)*The NPP will not even get 30percent at the polls(National level) if they dare make a MISTAKE. Ghana belongs to God”.
He added, “The prophets and the churches are WAITING FOR HIM**We have covenants with God and it will be PROVOKED**..Kennedy Agyepong is AN ANTI-CHRIST…N.B..He will pay his robots to come and lie about me..so expect The Lord told me, N.P.P. will have the worse ever DEFEAT IF THEY TRY HIM…I saw a lot of muggots and flies around him, spiritually”.
Also, a man of God in a viral video has fired shots at Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant.
The man of God recounted that Kennedy Agyapong rose against the church when COVID came, but today needs the church’s votes.
According to the man of God, Kennedy Agyapong, said he would close down all one-man churches if he were president of Ghana, leaving only Roman, Pentecostal and Methodist.
The Pastor confidently told the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that their only hope is the former vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking to his congregant in a viral video shared on X, the Pastor detailed, “When Covid came, a man that I respected so much, more than any honourable in Ghana, Kennedy Agyapong, I even respected him more than any other men of God but when Covid came, this same man rose against the church, thinking he was disgracing the church, and he had the audacity to say that if he were the president, he would destroy all one-man churches in Ghana.
Today, that same man needs the church’s vote. If you are speaking, be careful. I am telling you, the only hope of NPP is Bawumia. The same man who rose against the church and Ghana is a Christian country, and this man rose up singlehandedly against the church”.
The man of God further added, “He stated that if he were president, only Roman, Pentecostal and Methodist would be left to operate today, the same man needs people’s vote. I am not somebody who is afraid of the truth”.
