“Ken agrees he needs to work on his emotions”- George Ayisi

News“Ken agrees he needs to work on his emotions”- George Ayisi

George Ayisi, a member of the National Communications Team of the NPP and a member of the Kennedy Agyapong team, has said the former Assin Central MP has agreed he needs to work on his emotions.

According to George Ayisi, the campaign team held a meeting, and concerns were raised pertaining to Kennedy Agyapong’s temperament, which he agrees needs to be worked on.

George Ayisi, however, asserted that it is not going to be an overnight vision.

Speaking on JoyPrime, George Ayisi stated, “When we got onboard, we had a lot of meetings with Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and raised some of these issues, the sentiment of the people we raised it, that it is part of things we need work on. He agreed with us. When was the last time you heard Hon Ken being vituperative?

That’s why we also said let Ken be Ken, we know it is not going to be an overnight vision, we allow him to be him, but because it is a concern and a worry to a lot of Ghanaian people, we need to work on it”.

He added, “In fact, when Nana Addo came in the beginning, his English a lot of people had difficulty in understanding or even hearing what he was saying. It took some time and work on him to be able to get to appreciate what he was saying, to be a bit slow.

The conduct that is Ken is very passionate, and sometimes when you fight for the NPP, if you put about GHS11 million to GHS18 million to support your party in any given campaign, and my conduct is derailing the effort of the investment, how will you feel?”.

Meanwhile,   Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM), a Ghanaian satirist and anti-corruption advocate, has said Kennedy Agyapong cannot be tame.

KSM noted that Kennedy Agyapong is running to become president of Ghana, so he has adapted his character; however, he added that the former Assin Central MP cannot be measured, and he will slip back to his old self soon.

Speaking on KSM UNFILTERED, hosted by Bridget Otoo, Kwaku Sintim-Misa explained, “Well, he is running for president, so he has to adapt to a new phase, so that is a new

face now, as to whether that phase is sustainable, will he be that or not? That is the question for all Ghanaians to know and decide.

When asked if Ken Agyapong is capable of being measured or tame, he added, “No, you can’t tame him; he can be melo for a while and tolerate things for a while, but it will get to a point where he will say he is tired because that is not him. After a while, he will just slip back.

KSM noted that Kennedy Agyapong’s biggest mistake was joining Dr Bawumia’s campaign after his primary defeat.

“If Kennedy Agyapong had not campaigned for Dr Bawumia, he would have been more believable. After all the noise he made, he still campaigned for him”.

Also, Samuel Atta Akyea, the former Member of Parliament for Akim Abuakwa South, has said he is afraid that Kennedy Agyapong, a flagbearer hopeful, can beat someone in Cabinet as President.

According to Atta Akyea, he is scared of Kennedy Agyapong’s temperament.

Speaking on UTV, Atta Akyea stated, “In God’s name, I will not say I have a problem with Kennedy Agyapong, I don’t even have one problem with him, but to be a president it demands a lot of things.

I am scared of Kennedy Agyapong’s temperament; I am afraid that if God is not merciful to us, he could beat someone in the Cabinet as President. He does not have a heart. I know him like the back of my palm.

There is no way you can tell Ken to calm down, in public is where he show of his temperament, things that should not be in public he does not know how to do them”.
