A man in the Wassa East District is appealing for urgent financial support after his wife delivered quadruplets,

The Wassa East man warned that he may abandon the family if he does not receive help from Ghanaians, the government, his MP and the Assemblyman.

According to the man, initial scans showed that his wife was carrying triplets.

However, during a Caesarean section, four babies were delivered.

He further revealed that the newborns are currently being kept in an incubator, leading to unexpected and mounting medical expenses.

The man further cried out that the financial burden has become overwhelming and has called on individuals and the government to come to his aid.

He added that without support, he may be forced to run away and leave his wife and the four babies.

Speaking to the media, the man stated, “Scans showed that she was going to give birth to three. When it was time for her to give birth, we came to the Twifo Praso government hospital. When we came, the doctor operated on her because the children were a lot.

Initially, we thought it was three, but after the Caesarean section, the children were four, and all four children are all in an incubator”.

“All those expenses are there, the operation cost is also there, all my money is finished, so I am pleading particularly with the government, the Wassa East MP, and Assembly man and other big men to come and help us. All our money is finished otherwise, unless I run from my wife and the four children.

As of now, things are very difficult for me. I am pleading with you come and help me so I can look after the children”.

Some Ghanaians reacting to the development stated, “First of all, the doctors lied to him that his wife would give birth to 3 instead of 4…he has a case…the doctors did not help him prepare”.

A netizen added, “Make the government carry one give the woman wey steal the baby last week err?. Life is not fair at all”

“What are you waiting for? You are getting too late. Start running, when you were enjoying the woman, you didn’t think about the dangers associated with it. Carry your own cross, massa”, a netizen added.

“This is how poverty in children starts in Africa. How is he going to financially take care of four children for the next 240 months (20 years ) at least,” one more X user added.

“So let me get this straight, if he doesn’t receive donations, he will leave his wife to cater for the 4 children alone. But if he gets donations, he will stay and use the money received to take care of the children.

Did I miss out on anything? No? Okay. So what’s to say if he gets donations, he won’t just up and run away with the money since he was ready to leave his wife to take care of 4 children that he very well knows couldn’t be taken care of by both of them cos of finances”, a netizen added.

One more Ghanaian added, “It’s not easy, but I know these kids come with their own blessings to the family…

Praso Government Hospital management should be able to give a bill amnesty to the struggling couples and put the situation on their benevolent radar. It is well”
