More updates concerning the Ghanaian man and his Nigerian girlfriend, living in Morocco has been found dead in their apartment has emerged.

The Ghanaian man has been identified as Kassin Awudu.

Reports suggest that Kassin Awudu’s friends went to check on him after being unable to reach him, only to find the two lifeless inside.

In a post shared by CDR Africa stated, “A Ghanaian man, identified as Kassin Awudu, and his Nigerian girlfriend have been found dead in their apartment in Morocco.

His friends went to check on him after being unable to reach him, and with the landlord, forced the apartment door open, only to find the couple lifeless inside.

The cause of death is still unknown as efforts continue to trace their families”.

A resident in Morocco, who provided an update in an interview with Kofi TV, stressed that no official cause of death has been established.

The resident speaking in an interview with Kofi TV stated, “He lives with his girlfriend, and the two of them died in the room, but it appears they may have died about three days before they were discovered.

So, they called the landlord to break the door, and after forcing entry, they realised both of them were dead”.

“All the people in the apartment ran away due to documentation issues, fearing the police would come and interrogate them.

“The police later came for their bodies and are now looking for his family,” he said.

In related news, A Ghanaian abroad residing in the United States, identified as Patrick Sarpong, has tragically died while clearing snow from his car.

Reports suggest that the tragic incident occurred when Patrick Sarpong was killed by a tractor-trailer while clearing snow from his car.

According to reports, the accident occurred late on February 23, 2026, along the Massachusetts Turnpike near Hopkinton.

The information gathered from authorities reported that Sarpong had finished work and was heading home when he stopped around 11:15 p.m. to clear accumulated snow from his vehicle.

While clearing the snow outside, a passing tractor-trailer is said to have struck him.

However, emergency responders arrived promptly, but Sarpong was pronounced dead at the scene.

Patrick Sarpong’s body has since been taken to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel confirmed his death.

According to officials from the Massachusetts State Police, Hopkinton was not subject to any travel restrictions at the time of the crash, despite the snowstorm.

The Massachusetts State Police Sergeant Gregory Jones explained that the highway remained open, and drivers were allowed to travel.
