Franklin Cudjoe, the President of IMANI Africa, has fired back at his criticsm who are claiming his health condition is affecting his thinking.

According to Franklin Cudjoe, his health condition hasn’t disabled him from thinking right.

In a post shared on his X page on Sunday, January 18, 2026, Franklin Cudjoe fired back at his critics, trying to come at him using his health condition, saying, “Hello guys. My health condition hasn’t disabled me from thinking right. It has not prevented me from detecting and exposing radicalised, politicised militant ignorance and stupidity from common sense and clear thinking.

And, I have no memory loss of the excruciatingly plunderous, wasteful and kleptocratic feasting the last government visited upon us. I have not forgotten that the government was fantastically corrupt, and it was mostly made up of incompetent talkertives whose economically porous thinking and actions left us in a junk-rated prison.”

Franklin Cudjoe further fired shots at Akufo-Addo for failing miserably, “I will never forget that last government sequestered rational,  respectful freedom of speech and the rule of law from accountable governance- a huge reason why Ken Ofori-Atta has become a high-profile absconder- fugitive from the law.

“My health challenges certainly haven’t stopped me from breathing the fresh air and its ‘nyunyu’ scent under the humane, humble, thoughtful and competent thought process of John Dramani Mahama”.

“Nana failed miserably! And boy, I know that the many of the disrespectful and aimless followers/soldiers who are experiencing better economic outcomes are praying like wayward bees for it to end so their marauding mammal mutants can go back to work- pillaging!!

So those posting insulting comments of my health condition, I will be here reading and answering, and later will terminate you”.

It will be recalled that Franklin Cudjoe announced he has been living with Parkinson’s disease for the past eight years.

The IMANI president, in a Facebook post on Thursday, January 8, 2026, recounted that he earlier told Ghanaians at the beginning of the year that he was living with a movement disorder.

He further went on to confirm that his disease is Parkinson’s.

Franklin Cudjoe, in his post, wrote, “At the beginning of this year, I did mention that I was living with a movement disorder. Well, folks, it is Parkinsons. I had been living with it for the past eight years. My doctors in Ghana, neurologists in fact, ( And we have very few of them in Ghana ) have been very supportive .

Through the generous support of very close acquaintances, I have also been seeking medical care abroad. Parkinsons has no cure, but it won’t kill you. It can only be managed with expensive medication and lifestyle adjustment ( diet and physical exercises, especially). Many thanks to all who have shown concern”.

He further added, “I am determined to raise awareness and continue to support the Parkinson’s support group in Ghana.

Once again, please avoid prolonged exposure to chemicals, and please go for a clinical assessment once you notice changes in your physical movements.  It may also be  hereditary, although research shows that it is less than 10%

Keep well”.
