An old video of the Apostle Kwadwo Safo naming Kwadwo Safo Jnr as his successor has surfaced following controversies over who should be the rightful child to succeed him.
In the viral video, the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka explained that Nana Kwadwo Safo Kantanka will be his successor.
According to the late inventor, he knows Kwadwo Safo Jr deserved it, which is why he has been grooming him.
Speaking in the video, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka stated, “If Ghanaians understand how things work, everyone in the country would equally understand me. That is why I am grooming Kwadwo, who will also groom his children.
So if I am not there, my business will be there. And if he is no more, his children would take over”, he said.
He added, “I know no human being can stay on this earth forever, so I dreamt and I saw a bird that can do a 360-degree head rotation. So immediately he was born, I saw that he was the one.
I knew he deserved it, that is why I gave (business) to him, because I know he would do it very well”.
Meanwhile, the family of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, Founder and Leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana and Kantanka Group of Companies, has warned the general public against conducting any business transactions or funeral-related dealings with Israel Kwadwo Safo, alias Nana Kwadwo Akofena.
According to the family, no individual has been authorised to act on behalf of the family in any transactions related to the businesses of the late Apostle or the organisation of his funeral.
In a statement signed by the family’s spokesperson warn the public from engaging in any financial, contractual, or organisational dealings with Kwadwo Safo Jnr, the former CEO of the Kantanka Group of Companies, the second son and fifth born of the late Apostle.
“The family of the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo wishes to inform the general public that no individual, including Mr Kwadwo Safo Jnr, has been authorised to act on behalf of the family in any transactions related to the businesses of the late Apostle or in connection with the organisation of his funeral. The public is advised to desist from dealing with him on such matters,” the statement read in part.
The family added that official communication channels will be announced in due course.
Additionally, Lawyer Festus Owusu Badu has been sworn in as acting Chairman of the General Council of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana.
