Sammy Flex, the Public Relations Manager of Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale, has announced they have received a court document issued at the instance of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

According to Sammy Flex, the court document is in relation to a request for dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s consent in relation to the shipment of a yellow Lamborghini to the United States of America.

Sammy Flex further explained that the court document has been directed to their legal representatives, who are handling it through the appropriate legal channels.

In a brief post on X, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Sammy Flex wrote, “I wish to formally confirm, in my capacity as Public Relations Manager of Shatta Movement, that we have received a court document issued at the instance of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) regarding a request for Shatta Wale’s consent in relation to the shipment of the yellow Lamborghini to the United States of America.

The matter has been duly referred to our legal representatives, who are handling it through the appropriate legal channels.

We appreciate your understanding. Thank you”.

It will be recalled that the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has announced that Ghanaian Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, does not have any documentation to prove ownership of the Lamborghini Urus.

EOCO also revealed the artist has failed to identify who he purchased the Lamborghini Urus from.

According to EOCO, Shatta Wale’s documents in his possession show the Lamborghini Urus is in the name of Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently in jail.

In a statement released by EOCO on Thursday August 21, 2025 stated, “So far, Charles Nii Armah Mensah has been unable to identify the person from whom he purchased the said Lamborghini Urus except to say that he bought it from the “street” and from someone possibly called “ZAK,” who may have contacted him on WhatsApp but whose identity he does not know and whose contact he has thrown away.

So far, Charles Nii Armah Mensah also does not possess any documentation in terms of receipt or transfer documents which show that he owns or purchased the said vehicle, except a customs declaration document in his possession bearing the name of Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently in jail”, he added.

The EOCO statement also revealed that the  2019 Lamborghini Urus has been identified by the FBI and the US Justice Department as proceeds of a $14 million crime involving one Nana Kwabena Amuah.

However, Shatta Wale had previously, in a TikTok live session, claimed he bought his luxury Lamborghini Urus for $150,000.

Shatta Wale stated, “I bought the Lamborghini for $150,000 and didn’t know it was from Adu Boahene. I’m leaving the car for you people, don’t come to my house, and let nobody invite me.”

“Raymond Archer, I will leave the car for you people. Don’t come to my house. Don’t let anybody invite me. That’s why I have bought a new Lamborghini,” he fumed.

Meanwhile,  Shatta Wale has acknowledged the work of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) boss Raymond Archer.

According to Shatta Wale, what Raymond Archer arrested him was God-ordained.

The dancehall artiste revealed that Raymond Archer is now his best friend and feels God sent him to educate all Ghanaians on how to buy properties from the right source.

Speaking in an interview on JOYPRIME, Shatta Wale stated, “Raymond Archer is now my best friend. I feel God sent him for us to educate the people of Ghana, that is what he did on how to buy cars from the right sources.

So, that is one of the problems we have solved in this country; people might think he arrested me, but all that he did was God-ordained; he has really opened our eyes to certain things”.

He added, “It is about time the youth have to be wise and know how to purchase properties, that is what I am doing right now”.
