Ghanaian media personality Serwaa Amihere has shared her long journey to being called to the Ghana Bar today, October 10, 2025.

In a social media post on X, Serwaa Amihere gave a little insight into her 5-year journey to being called to the bar.

She wrote, “40 subjects. 40 exams. Over 2,500 lecture-hours. More than 8,000 hours of private studies and group discussions. A thousand plus judicial decisions.

Several volumes of textbooks and monographs. Dozens of enactments, and many more dozens of pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, and sticky notes”.

Serwaa Amihere added, “Sleepy days and sleepless nights. This is the aspect of my life which I’ve carefully kept away from the public in the last 5 years.

Thanks to God, my beloved family and you, wonderful individuals, who supported me through it all To a new chapter”.  🥂

Serwaa Amihere will be among the new batch of lawyers being officially called to the Bar, marking her switch from media personality to full-fledged legal practitioner.

Having successfully completed and excelled in law school, Serwaa Amihere is among 824 prospective lawyers who have been officially called to the Bar on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Serwaa Amihere originally earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance from Methodist University College in 2013 after pursuing an LLB at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), graduating with second-class upper honours.

She later joined the Ghana School of Law, where she mastered the rigours of legal training.

Serwaa Amihere is a Ghanaian media personality, news anchor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur who began her career as an Assistant Producer for State of Affairs at GHOne TV from 2014 to 2018.

She is also a three-time RTP Award winner for Best TV Newscaster in 2019, 2020, and 2023.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to Serwaa Amihere’s post by congratulating her under her post.

 A netizen wrote, “Congratulations, my sister, now I can misbehave, because I have someone to defend me in the court room. Let’s go”.
