Prophet Kofi Oduro, the Founder of Alabaster International Ministries, has said some of his church members use his picture as a prayer point when they’re sick for him to heal them.
According to Prophet Kofi Oduro, when he is sick, he goes to see his specialist.
Prophet Kofi Oduro urged his church members not to be foolish, adding that a lot of people will not go to heaven when God comes.
Speaking to his church congregation in a video shared on X, Prophet Kofi Oduro stated, “Some of members have my picture in their room, and when they are sick, they use it as a prayer point for me to help them, Kofi Oduro heal me. Meanwhile, when I, Kofi Oduro, am sick, I go to see my specialist.”
“You are being foolish when God comes, it will surprise you that a lot of people will not go”, he added.
The man of God remarks, subtly aimed dig at Ghanaian pastors who sell pictures to their church members for them to use as a point of contact when sick for healing.
Ghanaians reacting to Prophet Kofi Oduro’s remarks stated, “Was using the Lapaz highway & got stuck in traffic, on my right was a “trotro driver” will his car fully loaded with passengers and…and… not only did he have stickers of a church leader but also had white powder all over his face like a fetish priest. Interesting times!”.

A netizen added, “This is refreshing.
I am sure many healthcare workers attend his church.
He can use his church as a venue to help organise FREE annual health checkups for his congregation members.

In related news, Prophet Kofi Oduro has told fellow Ghanaian pastors to stop using the pulpit for political nonsense.
According to Kofi Oduro, the church has souls to win and God to glorify.
He added that the Church must focus on spiritual matters rather than partisan politics.
Speaking during his sermon on February 1, 2026, Prophet Oduro stated, “Let’s stop this nonsense of helping these politicians. We have a gospel to preach. We have souls to win. We have a Christ to glorify. Let’s not use the pulpit for political nonsense. We have a Christ to glorify”.
The man of God further described some politicians as disrespectful to God, very promiscuous, very adulterous.
“Most of these politicians are very disrespectful to God, very promiscuous, very adulterous, and most of them don’t care about God. Why do we have to care about them and give them so much attention? We have a whole Bible here to preach open the word and preach the word, leave these uncircumcised people. The pulpit is not for political nonsense,” he said.
