A viral video of heavily pregnant Ghanaian social media personality and TikToker sensation Hajia Bintu has surfaced on social media.
Earlier in the year, there were rumours that Hajia Bintu had quietly welcomed a baby, which took over the social media space in Ghana.
In a viral video shared on social media, Hajia Bintu was captured with friends heavily pregnant during her baby shower.
She stated, “On 3rd October,2025, I became a mother, and it’s been the most beautiful, humbling and joy-filled journey I’ve ever known. This journey has been everything I dreamed of and more. Overflowing with love, growth, laughter and the purest kind of joy I’ve ever known. The sleepless nights, the little giggles, the quiet moments of wonder and every part of it have filled my heart beyond measure.
I’ve never felt this kind of peace, this kind of purpose or this much happiness. Motherhood has changed me most beautifully; it’s softened my soul, opened my heart, and filled my days with pure joy. Here’s to new beginnings, endless love, and a future brighter than I ever imagined because my greatest blessing is finally here”, she said.
Meanwhile, in June 2025, various TikTok creators were alleging that Hajia Bintu secretly gave birth to a baby boy, and they claimed he was unsure of the father’s identity, with the claim igniting debate on social media.
Now, Hajia Bintu’s baby shower video puts an end to the rumours; however, the question yet to be answered is the father of Hajia Bintu’s child.
Several high-profile names in Ghana and Nigeria have been allegedly linked to being the baby’s father which including Don Jazzy, the Nigerian music icon and Mavin Records boss.
Ova Wise Ghanaian entrepreneur and musician, has also been linked, but claimed he had never spoken to her before. UK-based Ghanaian artist Danny Lampo has also allegedly suggested. The embattled Kofi Boat, and finally controversial internet personality Archipalago.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to the viral video saying, “It’s amazing how you people always want to find the negatives in every situation, channel your energy into making money, not following people’s weakness, it won’t make you rich nor give you a better name”.
“I know nothing about baby showers, but is the guy not supposed to be here? Or this is the social media version?”, one more netizen added.
“lol.. is funny you all believe she doesn’t know the father of the baby”, a netizen added.
A netizen alleged, {Her father left her mum, and she doesn’t know her father. She doesn’t know the daughter’s father, and the daughter may never know the true identity of her dad. A shameful cycle that needs to be broken by the daughter, but can she mould the daughter in a way that breaks the cycle?”
“So who gave Bintu doggy style to preg like that, man be genius because slay queens are not in for babies but enjoyment”, one more netizen wrote.
“Well, for your information, she gave birth. And it’s a girl. Read her captions to understand. Her pregnancy was late last year, not the beginning of this year”, a netizen added.
