Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspirant, has received a rousing ‘jama’ from supporters on Volta Lake.
In the viral video shared on social media, there was a rousing jama from supporters as Kennedy Agyapong joined the ferry to some parts of the Oti Region for his campaign.
Mr Agyapong was spotted in his usual Lacoste top and jeans as he acknowledged the rousing Jama performance.
Reports suggest Mr Agyapong was on a journey across the Volta Lake to campaign in some parts of the Oti Region.
In related news, Kennedy Agyapong has said, Samuel Atta Akyea, the former Member of Parliament for Akim Abuakwa South, used filthy words against Akufo-Addo.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, Atta-Akyea insulted Akufo-Addo and told him that Akufo-Addo was not fit to be president.
Speaking on Skyy FM, Kennedy Agyapong stated, “Atta-Akyea, I could have responded to him, but I am not going to respond to him because, even President Akufo-Addo, he insulted him. he told me at Heathrow Airport that he is not fit to be president at that time Akufo-Addo won.
So, I was surprised when Akufo-Addo appointed him as minister; he accepted it, before I would have replied to him. The filthy words he says when I go to the UN…”
Kennedy Agyapong reiterated, “The filthy words he used to describe Akufo-Addo at the London Heathrow Airport were scary. So if he can criticise someone coming from his own hometown, when he does it to me, I am nobody, so I am not going to respond. But he should remember the things he told me at Heathrow Airport, it was so nasty.
If I had told Akufo-Addo, he would never have made him a minister, but I was quiet; I am not responding to anybody, I am just staying focused. These are distractions because they do not have a message, so they go about saying Kennedy Agyapong is not presidential material”.
Additionally, the General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, has said the former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team wanted him to prophesy for their candidate.
According to the man of God, he boldly told them Kennedy Agyapong had already won the NPP presidential primaries ahead of the 2026 elections.
Prophet ElBernard asserted that Akosua Manu, an NPP parliamentary candidate in the 2024 election, was the one asked to sway him to prophesy in favour of Dr Bawumia, adding that he declined a meeting with the former vice president.
The man of God is quoted as saying, “Team Bawumia wanted me to prophesy for DMB, but I told them that Ken has already won. Akosua Manu was the one charged with leading talks to sway me to Dr Bawumia, but I stood firm and declined a meeting with Dr Bawumia.
