Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the Founder and Leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, has prophesied that the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, will become the next National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Nigel Gaisie, he already has divine insight into Ghana’s next President; however, saying at the right time, he will reveal it.
The man of God further revealed that what he has seen is that Chairman Wontumi is the next NPP National Chairman.
Speaking to the media, Prophet Nigel Gaisie stated, “ I know who, by the mercy of God, will be the next president of the republic, but time is a factor, so I believe God has already shown me that when the time is due, I will announce it to the nation.
From where I stand, it is a sensitive position, so I will wait. What I have seen as of yesterday is that Chairman Wontumi will be their next National Chairman. Chairman Wontumi, granted god give him long life, will be the next NPP National Chairman”.
Nigel Gaisie’s remarks follow, Wontumi, who yesterday officially declared his intention to contest for the NPP National Chairman position.
According to Wontumi, having consulted his Maker and sought the counsel of party elders, he has declared his intention to serve as National Chairman of the NPP.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, February 4, the Ashanti Regional Chairman stated, “Our party has faced challenges and learned hard lessons along the way. At this critical moment he NPP demands leadership that is steady, principled, and committed to unity.
A leader who is grassroots personified, who values every member from our elders to the youthfu allies, and who is willing to make the ultimate sacrifices for the party
Bernard Antwi-Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), having consulted my Maker and sought the counsel of party elders, hereby declare my intention to serve as National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party. I do so not for personal ambition, but to strengthen, rebuild, and unify our great part.
The road ahead will demand vision, courage, and unwavering determination. Leadership at this moment requires bravery—the courage to stand firm, make difficult decisions, and be willing to lose everything if necessary for the NPP.
We are ready. We are organised. We are built for the battle ahead.
Together, we will restore confidence, empower our grassroots, and position the NPP to win decisively in 2028. This is our moment to rise, to lead, and to deliver for the NPP”.
Wontumi’s declaration sets the stage for a potentially heated contest for the NPP’s top leadership position.
Netizens reacting to Prophet Nigel Gaisie’s prediction stated, “Prophet Nigel dropping another bold one. Keeping the 2028 prez pick secret but fully backing Wontumi for NPP chair. Ghana’s faith + politics combo never disappoints”.
Another X user added, “We are bookmarking this thing too or we can download it. You think you can brag since Ken lost this election, and it was obvious he wouldn’t win. Because the majority of the NPP leaders were with Bawumia”.
One X user claimed, “This is never a prophecy. We all know Bawumia’s preferred candidate is Wuntumi and the Npp has a history in sight, don’t just attribute any nonsense to God”.
“He should get serious and stop all this prophetic nonsense about who becomes what in the future”, a Ghanaian noted.
