A self-styled man of God has boldly claimed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will collapse after they elect it flagbearer on January 31, 2025.

According to the Prophet, the NPP is doing everything spiritual to destroy the NDC pillars spiritually.

He cautioned the NPP that for the party to be attractive again, they need to stop the spiritual attacks.

Speaking in a media interview, the man of God stated, “The NPP is doing everything spiritual to destroy the pillars of the NDC. If they wish the NPP to be attractive again, they should stop the spiritual nonsense and become united. The NPP, after they elect their flagbearership, will collapse forever.”

Also, Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi of Conqueror Chapel Int. Kumasi has claimed the Akuapem North MP Sammy Awuku faces danger ahead of the January 31 NPP presidential primaries.

Speaking on Good Afternoon Ghana, Prophet Worlasi revealed that the NPP presidential primaries will be chaotic and Sammy Awuku will be shot.

According to him, Dr Bawumia will win the primaries, but Kennedy Agyapong will not accept defeat, arguing that the election was rigged.

Prophet Worlasi further revealed that there was a meeting, and Sammy Awuku has been identified as the one to rig the election in the Eastern region.

The man of God added that he has already informed the Akuapem North MP about the possible danger and advised him on what to do.

Speaking on Metro TV, Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi stated, “ After the election, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will win, and Ken Agyapong will not admit that Dr Bawumia has won. They will say that it has been rigged, and there will be a lot of chaos, and I saw one person being shot.

I have called the person, who is an MP. There was a meeting where he was going to rig the election in the Eastern Region. I was in my room, and I saw it. I called him, and I told him”.

He added, “He may not die, but the shooting means that is what is going to happen. I told him what he was supposed to do during the election. He is in the Eastern region, a member of parliament.

When pressed by the host to be specific, Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi stated,  “ I am talking about the mountains, the Akuapem side. Maybe it might be him.

I spoke to Hon Sammy Awuku, to be very careful, a meeting has gone on about him, by a camp, but I don’t know whether it is from the Kennedy Agyapong camp. They knew that he was doing a great job, and he is going to make a major impact for Dr Bawumia in the Eastern Region. I saw the people, and I can mention their names, but because of security reasons, I will not”.

Meanwhile, Justin Kodua Frimpong, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said the party is bigger than all five candidates contesting the flagbearership election.

The NPP General Secretary assured party members that the upcoming presidential primaries will be conducted freely, fairly, and transparently.

According to him, the NPP is bigger than all five candidates, and members must prioritise the long-term interests of the party.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews, Justin Frimpong stated, “The most important thing that the rank and file of our party must understand is that the NPP is bigger than all those five people who are contesting. At the end of the day, just as we have had several party stakeholders who contested in the previous election, this is their time. They will come, they will go, but the NPP will remain the NPP”.

“At the end of the day, if I lose the election and the processes were not fair, then it gives me the reason to rock the boat. It gives me the reason to stay back and say, ‘Well, you have decided to skew the process to favour a particular person. So, you go and do your own campaign. We don’t want that situation,’” he explained.

“Our supreme interest is to make sure that we go into the election as a united front. Then after the election, we remain as a united front, rather than scheming the process for one particular person,” Mr Frimpong added.
