The young man arrested for threatening the police and the military pleads with dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to speak on his behalf for his release.
In a viral video shared on X, the young man begged Shatta Wale to speak to authorities on his behalf following his arrest.
Speaking in the video while in handcuffs, the man stated, “God Father Shatta Wale, I’m your biggest fan SM for life. Please speak to the authorities on my behalf so I can be released from police custody.”
Netizens reacting to his plea stated, “Gyimie now you dey call God fada why e be God fada way send you, at times instead of you guys minding your business yoh go dey follow fan base fan base saaaa den you learn the hard way ofuoi”.
One X user added, “If they get some Alcatel mobile biaaa then them go talk bs about the police then barb them finish Arrh then them go start Dey mention Shatta ein name, Chale go br3 small next time you know go insult police or threaten them”.
A netizen added, “Just look at him well ooooo, he doesn’t even have a mirror to stand in front of the mirror before saying nonsense to someone far better than him and the one he’s following”.
Another X user added, “This is some level of stupidity!!! @shattawalegh, if you help this fool, I will stop following you and block you forever!!! Why must a fool who decides to fool with the police be asking you for help”.
It will be recalled that the young man who went viral for threatening to kill any police officer or soldier sent to arrest him has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service.
The Police detail that the suspect, identified as Opoku Emmanuel, was arrested on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Jacobu in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region
In a viral photo shared on X, the young man was seen in handcuffs following his arrest by the Ghana Police Service.
However, the young man, before the arrest, had earlier apologised.
According to the young man, he was only creating content when he made those pronouncements.
Speaking in another viral video, the young man stated, “Ghanaian leaders, I am pleading with you, I posted a video on TikTok, I was only making content, I should not have said those things. I threatened the Police and soldiers. I have seen some people have posted my pictures in a wanted group.
I am not a thief, I am not a bad person, I am a hustler. The things I said, I did not speak properly. Please forgive me, Ghana Police and Soldiers”.
It will be recalled that the young Ghanaian man had earlier threatened personnel of the Ghana Police Service and of the Ghana Armed Forces in a viral video.
Speaking in a viral video, the young man stated, “If you are a police officer or a soldier and you are sent to arrest armed robbers, and you meet me without holding any gun, just know that I will kill you. I swear to God, the powers I’m holding you don’t have some”.
