Samuel Koku Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has fired shots at Dorcas Affo-Toffey, Member of Parliament for the Jomoro Constituency and Deputy Minister for Transport.
The former NDC Deputy General Secretary fumed that the opulence being displayed by the current Mahama administration is so so so sickening.
His comment follows a video of Dorcas Affo-Toffey, who had customised the number plate of her Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon to read “Jomoro MP.”
According to Koku Anyidoho, even the “property-owning” NPP NEVER displayed such disgusting opulence.
He warned that the NDC grassroots may soon rise up against some government appointees over their extravagant displays of wealth.
In a post on X, Koku Anyidoho wrote, “The opulence in this current Administration is so so so sickening.
NDC, a Party that was birthed by a revolution, is now brazenly displaying such vulgar opulence?
An MP, Deputy Minister, decides to customise the number plate of her vehicle? This is so so so unacceptable!
Even the “property-owning” NPP NEVER displayed such disgusting opulence.
The base of the NDC shall soon begin to rise up and revolt against the stinking open opulence in the face of massive suffering in the Country.
President Mahama must wake up and crack the whip ooooo ….

He further added, “For those who are saying it is an old video clip, does it change the fact that the number plate of the vehicle has been customised?
Has any NPP MP ever customised his/her vehicle number plate?
Even if it is an old video clip, is it not very telling that it has resurfaced?

Some Ghanaians reacting to Koku Anyidoho’s post stated, “What will kill you soon is vulgar bitterness. This woman was already using this kind of car even in opposition. Sir, please, sorry to ask, ooo, do you still have a wife? Cos your life and conduct do not depict that. A man of God???? Interesting”.
A netizen added, “Senior man, I think you are clutching at straws here. What is the opulence here, the personalised number plate, her car or both?
