The owner of Euro Spa and Beauty Lounge, in Shiashie, Jessica Hartog, has been arrested and arraigned before an Accra High Court over her alleged involvement in the smuggling of nearly four tonnes of cocaine intercepted by French Authorities.
Jessica Hartog is alleged. to be the fiancée of one of the key figures in the operation and was arrested alongside three other suspects.
She is facing charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and the unlicensed exportation of narcotic drugs.
Jessica Hartog, according to reports, pleaded not guilty and has been remanded in custody, awaiting her rearraignment on 13th October, 2026.
Meanwhile, More details have emerged following the arrest and interrogation of four Ghanaian suspects linked to the €225m cocaine shipment from Ghana to France.
Awisi Dede, a Ghanaian journalist, has provided further details concerning the arrest and interrogation by NACOC.
According to the Ghanaian journalist, the first suspect, Desmond Koranteng Curiel and the fourth suspect, Jessica Hartog, were arrested at Ashale Botwe.
She described Desmond Koranteng Curiel as a businessman, and Jessica Hartog as his fiancée.
The journalist also disclosed that the third suspect, Kweku Otchere, was arrested at his residence in East Legon.
Awisi Dede further disclosed that a search conducted following the arrests led to the retrieval of three guns, four luxury vehicles, passports, ammunition and various sums of money.

On Saturday, September 12, NACOC officers arrested the 1st suspect, Desmond Koranteng Curiel, and the 4th suspect, Jessica Hartog, at Ashale Botwe.
Desmond is a businessman, and Jessica is his fiancée .
The 3rd suspect, Kweku Otchere, was arrested at his residence in East Legon.
A search conducted following the arrests led to the retrieval of three guns, four luxury cars, passports, ammunition and various sums of money.
On Monday, September 14, the 2nd suspect, Musah Attah, was arrested at the NACOC headquarters.
A fifth suspect, Dutch national Jos Leijdekkers, alias “Bolle Jos,” is said to be at large”.
The development follows French customs officials having intercepted nearly 3.9 metric tonnes of cocaine, worth about $261 million, in a shipment from Ghana.
According to Reuters news, the shipment was confiscated at the northern French port of Dunkirk on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
The cocaine was concealed in 167 packages inside a container carrying plastic waste from Ghana and destined for Antwerp, Belgium.
The 3.9 metric tonnes of cocaine is allegedly linked to the criminal organisation of fugitive Dutch drug trafficker Jos Leijdekkers.
Reports suggest the drugs have since been destroyed, with French prosecutors opening an investigation into the seizure.
According to French authorities, the seizure followed a targeted operation by the judicial police against a criminal network suspected of being behind the shipment, with the investigation focused on offences including the organised importation of narcotics and participation in a criminal association.
