A Ghanaian man, after crashing his Mercedes-Benz and somersaulting several times without sustaining any injuries at Legon, has urged his fellow Ghanaians to buy a bulletproof car.
According to the man, Ghanaians must buy a bulletproof car if they have the means.
The man made this known after his Mercedes-Benz flipped several times, scraping off its tyres and undercarriage, but the windows stayed intact, with some bystanders helping free him and another man involved.
In the viral video, the man, after the incident, was gesturing confidently while saying, “Buy a bulletproof car if you have money. It will somersault several times, and you’ll wake up solid.”
However, netizens on X have been split between praising the car’s strength for saving lives rather than thanking God first, with others calling for medical checks despite no visible injuries.
Some netizens reacting to the video stated, “The Benz company makes all types of their cars. This Benz is purposely built differently for some reasons like this accident.. Bulletproof car can equally save your life like that.. In my opinion let believe what the guy is saying, he went through it, and he knows what he is saying”.
“Just thank your maker and stop talking nonsense. Bullet what proof. I would have poured my anger on you if adey there”, a netizen added.
One X user added, “A lot of people have died in accidents using that same bulletproof car…
He forgot who saved him,
He should be grateful to the Most High God for his mercy”.
An X user added, “I hope you guys know, he could still be bleeding internally right???
Not seeing physical injuries on him doesn’t mean all is fine.
Encourage him to rush quickly to the nearest hospital for a checkup before it’s too late”.
“His being physically fit after the accident doesn’t mean he hasn’t incurred any psychological and emotional damage. Vehicles can only protect your body from injury”, one Ghanaian noted.
A netizen alleged, “One guy had an accident in Russia; he came out unscratched. What he did next was really surprising.
He tagged benZ and told them they did an excellent job; if not, he wouldn’t have survived it. The following week benZ brought the exact same car over with other benZ products they even gave him a deal in one of their showrooms there in Russia”.
Additionally, one last X user added, “People like these are usually very bad drivers. They believe in the car’s capabilities more than actually being good drivers. His liver and other organs are probably in different positions after all the somersaults. Instead of going for a quick checkup, he says, ” Bulletproof car. “
