The Ghana Police Service in Yendi has arrested Abdul Rahaman Zakaria and one other suspect for allegedly impersonating Sharaf Mahama, son of the President, on TikTok.

The Police further prompted investigations that led to their arrest.
Some netizens reacting to the news of the arrest impersonators stated, “The way you people are shouting ‘Well done, Aban’ is hilarious. You’re celebrating the police for catching a TikTok scammer like they just recovered the country’s missing millions”.
Another added, “the real problem is. Why is the male suspect in handcuffs while the female suspect is hands-free? Is she not a suspect in this alleged impersonation, and has she not been arrested by the police? Someone should clarify this thing for us”.
“There’s one account posing as Farida Mahama. Arrest all of them”, An X user added.

“Meanwhile, people who stole money from me are walking free despite providing all the data to the useless police. I guess being rich alone is not enough, you must be a politician also!”, Another Ghanaian added.
