A Ghanaian man has narrated how his former boss allegedly set him up to be beheaded in a viral video.
According to the Ghanaian man, his former boss ordered him to go to a cocoa farm and wait for him there.
He recounted that upon arriving at the location, he became suspicious of the surroundings and decided to hide while waiting.
The man further added that moments later, he allegedly spotted three men approaching, with one carrying a sack and another holding a knife.
He disclosed that throughout the incident, his former boss reportedly kept calling him, asking about his whereabouts and claiming he could not find him, adding that he later realised that his boss was never at the location, but rather the three men were there instead.
Speaking in a viral video shared on X by the State News on May 14, 2026, the Ghanaian man narrated, “He instructed me to go and meet some people at a cocoa farm in a village.
That time, it was getting to 6 PM, so I went to hide under a cocoa tree, and I was lying flat on the ground. So, I got to the destination, I called him on the phone to tell him I was at there and he told me he was on his way”.
He further added, “After some time, I then saw a man there, so my boss called. Apparently, the man told him I was there. Later, others joined. One came to sit on a bench nearby, and my boss called me asking if I was there.
He got angry that I had not yet reached the destination. I then saw a man with a sack and a knife, and that was when I realised something was wrong,” he recounted.
Netizen reacting to the viral video shared on X wrote, “He should go to the police station to report for that people to be arrested and jailed, they don’t deserve to be in our midst. They might go and get a different person to be headed. Over to you @ghPoliceService”.
An X user added, “Ghana police need to investigate his boss carefully… because from the way this man explained how it happened, it seems like the boss may have been doing this for a long time now. Who knows how many people he may have killed?!

One last X user added, “Masa, if you are not lying, go to the nearest police station with only the phone call evidence and stop disturbing us here….Country where everybody turns comedian…We only believe in things we never see”.
