The mother of the self-acclaimed modern-day Noah, Evans Eshun, commonly known as Ebo Noah, has appealed to President John Mahama, the Asantehene and other Ghanaian citizens to help secure the release of her son.
Speaking in a viral video shared by SIKAOFFICIAL, Ebo Noah’s mum, on her knees, noted that her son was wrong with what he did and begged for mercy.
In the viral video, she stated, “I am calling on the President, John Dramani Mahama; the former President, Nana Akufo-Addo; the IGP, Christian Yohuno; Otumfuo Osei Tutu II; and Nana Ama McBrown to help my son. That is the only thing a mother can do for her child. Please help him”.
“My son has no ark. He can’t even afford a single boat, let alone own an ark.
“He is not crazy. Ebo was only influenced by pressure online to also earn something for himself. This is a great financial burden to us. We do not have the money. My son is not mad. I think he got carried away by social media since that is where he makes some money. As a mother, I am pleading with all distinguished Ghanaians to have mercy on my son. I beg you”, she added.
In court, the Self-acclaimed prophet Evans Eshun, commonly known as Ebo Noah, was remanded into police custody.
Ebo Noah was earlier spotted at the Adenta Circuit Court in handcuffs following his arrest.
He was arrested by the GPS Special Cyber Vetting Team on December 31, 2025, after his viral video claiming God would destroy the world with a flood on December 25, 2025.
In a viral video shared on X, Ebo Noah was spotted by excuted to court by officers of the CID.
Ebo Noah is facing charges of false communication, deliberately misleading the public, and publishing false news intended to cause fear and panic.
He was remanded into police custody for two weeks, following the adjournment of court proceedings at the Adentan Circuit Court.
The court also ordered a psychiatric evaluation of the suspect at the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital, before his next appearance in court.
The case was subsequently adjourned to January 16, 2026.
It will be recalled that Ebo Noah, in a viral video, had claimed he received divine instruction that God had warned him that the world would end on December 25, 2025.
He claimed he had been instructed by God to build the ark to rescue souls who wished to be saved.
However, Ebo Noah later claimed that after intercession, God had given him some more time to build more arks.
According to Ebo Noah, looking at the number of people coming all over the country, the ark could not contain the numbers.
In a viral video update, Ebo Noah claimed he received a fresh vision in which he saw large numbers alleging that the ark was unable to contain the influx of people.
Speaking in the viral video, Ebo Noah warned Ghanaians not to rush to any location but stay in their houses and enjoy Christmas.
Ebo Noah stated, “And through my prayers, I got another vision and, in the vision, when you look at the number of people coming all over the country all over the world into the ark the expansion of the ark couldn’t contain them, so I shared my vision to some great men of God who also interceded with me.
“After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more arks in addition to the tent that will contain all of us, so tomorrow nobody should rush to any location. I am not selling tickets, I am not taking money from anyone, so please stay home, enjoy yourself, “he said.
