Nii Adjetey Donkor, the Chief of Kotoku Sabama, was spotted at the Eastern Naval Command in Tema for a medical screening in the Ghana Armed Forces.
According to the Chief of Kotoku Sabama, he is at the GAF recruitment screening to fight for his own future.
The Chief of Kotoku Sabama in the Greater Accra Region was spotted at the screening on Friday, November 21, 2025, as he underwent medical screening.
He joined hundreds of Ghanaian youths seeking to qualify for enlistment into the military.
The Chief of Kotoku Sabama has highlighted that being a chief does not prevent him from pursuing his personal ambitions.
Speaking during an interview at the screening grounds, he stated, “I’m just here to fight for my own future”.
When asked about the physical demands of the military might conflict with the traditional restrictions placed on chiefs, he stated, “I’m a man of authority…If I command, people can do it. But as far as I’m here, if you command me, I’ll also do it”.
He further told his people of Kotoku Sabama to take opportunities in the security services seriously.
“If me being the chief, I’m here, then they should also try to engage themselves in the security services”, he added.

“Normally, a chief should have some military experience. Even heads of state should have it so that they can experience the system before they become its Commander-in-Chief, but in Africa, it’s easy to abuse these things”, a netizen added.
Nii is trying to look sharp because his grandfathers and fathers have sold all the land, leaving nothing for him. He has to secure his future and his children’s. Nii, all the best and good luck. People should free Nii Donkor.
One more netizen wrote, “You don’t even have to have any lineage or ties to the Nii Saban Kofi family, and you are parading yourself as Sabanman Chief. You better go and tell your father, who installed you to find a place for you as chief, coz you perfectly know Sabanman is hot. Your father couldn’t even stand”.
Additionally, a Ghanaian added, “If this man eventually runs for office, I will be in full support. He is ready to come down to the level of his subjects to achieve greater things mad May Allah grant him good success and keep him a good man for our future”.
