Samuel Atta Akyea, the former Member of Parliament for Akim Abuakwa South, has said it is a lie that Ken Agyapong claim that he bought me a house at AU Village.
According to Atta Akyea, he can put his hand on a bible and say he does not owe any property at the AU village.
Speaking on UTV Ghana, Atta Akyea stated, “I, Atta Akyea, what aid has he provided to me? Do I beg before I eat? Do I look like them? You are breaching the Ninth Commandment. Ken Ohene Agyapong will take out his $500,000 to buy a property for me, Atta Akyea.
It’s a disgrace for Kennedy Agyapong, where is his title deed for the house he claimed he bought for me? Where is the house? And that I have leased the house to the Okyenehene, taking $4000. It’s a lie, I don’t know what he is talking about. Where is the house?”
He added, “What is he going to fire? Did he show you proof of anything he bought with the name change to mine? I put my hand on a bible and say I don’t have any property at the AU village, and the Osagyefo is not dead; you can ask him if I have ever leased a house to him for $4000”.
His comments follow, Kennedy Agyapong, a flagbearer hopeful, who has said he bought a house for Samuel Atta Akyea.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, he bought a house for Atta Akyea worth $500,000, but he rented it out to the Okyenhene, pocketing $4000.
The former Assin Central MP also added that he recently gave Atta Akyea $50,000 for him to acquire the office, which he was renting.
Speaking on UTV, Kennedy Agyapong stated, “I am not going to respond to anyone; they should all speak, but if I decide to fire, they will run away from the evidence I will produce. I just don’t talk.
I will give you evidence. With Atta Akyea, when I said Heathrow Airport…, he said I don’t understand English, someone who does not understand English. I was able to buy a house worth $500,000 during Kufuor’s time at the AU village and gifted it to him”.
He added, “He was taking rent from the Okyenhene and was paying $4000 to you. Where is your wisdom, if someone who does not understand English can buy a house and gift it to you?
When he was hiring his office, when they decided to sell it to him, I gave him $50,000, I left it to fate. Everyone should say theirs. For now, I am not hard; at an appropriate time, I know everything about them”.
Some netizens reacting stated, “One thing I know for a fact about Ken is he doesn’t lie about things, when he does something for you, and you turn around against him, he will come out and expose you.. It’s either Atta Akyea is ashamed to admit Ken got him a house, and today he is ungrateful”.
“You all should pay attention to the video very well, he didn’t mention Lawyer Atta Akyes’ name about the house…After the airport, that’s side is for the lawyer, and he comes again and says, you said I can’t speak good English, but I bought you a house he’s not referring to him….”
