A man of God has alleged that Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, a controversial media personality, took the CEO of YEA, Malik Basintale, to juju to cripple him.
According to the man of God, the alleged plan failed because of the strong spiritual forces protecting Basintale.
Speaking to the media, the man of God alleged, “Basintale is very strong, spiritual and physically he is very strong. Someone has taken Basintale somewhere to cripple him, but it did not work.
It’s Okatakyie Afrifa is the one, remember sometime ago, Okatakyie and Basintale had issues, and he told him he was going to deal with him. The NPP is doing everything spiritual to destroy the pillars of the NDC”.
The man of God further claimed the NPP will collapse after they elect their flagbearer on January 31, 2025.
“If they wish the NPP to be attractive again, they should stop the spiritual nonsense and become united. The NPP, after they elect their flagbearership, will collapse forever”.
When asked if he could provide evidence to back his claims, the man of God stated, “I am standing on his own proclamation, he made on the media, so if he like he should take me to court”.
It will be recalled that Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has issued a stern warning to Malik Basintale, urging him not to be carried away by political power and to act more responsibly.
Speaking on his “For the Records” show, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah stated, “You are a young man. I saw you when you were coming up,” Afrifa-Mensah recounted. “Whenever I finished a radio show, I used to go with you to buy food, and we would sit down and eat. You are blessed to have the grassroots of your party listening to you.”
“You are a young man, and you must stop fooling,” he warned. “Otherwise, power will change hands, and you will be so sorry. When you have political power, you behave as if the whole world belongs to you.”
However, Basintale, in his response, shared on X, spoke in Dagomba, saying that “a true and proud Dagomba man doesn’t take his grievances to court or the police but settles them directly. He added, With Allah’s will, when the time comes, all will be well”.
Meanwhile, Malik Basintale, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has finally put an end to rumours surrounding his health.
Over the weekend, rumours were flying all over social media alleging that the YEA CEO was sick and seriously battling a stroke.
The reports even suggested that Malik Basintale had been flown out of the country for medical treatment following the alleged ill health.
The rumour spread due to the YEA CEO’s hiatus from social media platforms for some weeks.
