The Media Relations Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fred Duhoe, in a Facebook post, has shared a list of 41 countries Ghanaian holders of ordinary passports can travel to without obtaining a visa in advance.
The list shared comprises 28 non-ECOWAS countries and the 14 other member states of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
According to the list shared, most of the countries allow Ghanaian ordinary passport holders to stay for up to 90 days.
However, Grenada, Maldives and Zambia allow stays of up to 30 days.
In his Facebook post, he wrote, “GHANA HAS 60 VISA WAIVER AGREEMENTS FOR ALL PASSPORT CATEGORIES, BUT HERE ARE COUNTRIES SPECIFICALLY FOR ORDINARY PASSPORT HOLDERS
