Franklin Cudjoe, the President of IMANI Africa, has said that former President Akufo-Addo failed miserably in government.
According to Franklin Cudjoe, he knows NPP footsoldiers who are experiencing better economic outcomes are praying for it to end.
In a strong-worded post on X, Franklin Cudjoe stated, “Nana failed miserably! And boy, I know that many of the disrespectful and aimless followers/soldiers who are experiencing better economic outcomes are praying like wayward bees for it to end so their marauding mammal mutants can go back to work- pillaging!!
So those posting insulting comments about my health condition, I will be here reading and answering, and later will terminate you”.
Franklin Cudjoe further highlighted the ills of the Akufo-Addo government, “And, I have no memory loss of the excruciatingly plunderous, wasteful and kleptocratic feasting the last government visited upon us. I have not forgotten that the government was fantastically corrupt, and it was mostly made up of incompetent talkertives whose economically porous thinking and actions left us in a junk-rated prison.
I will never forget that last government sequestered rational, respectful freedom of speech and the rule of law from accountable governance- a huge reason why Ken Ofori-Atta has become a high-profile absconder- fugitive from the law.
My health challenges certainly haven’t stopped me from breathing the fresh air and its ‘nyunyu’ scent under the humane, humble, thoughtful and competent thought process of John Dramani Mahama”.
He further stressed that his condition hasn’t disabled him from thinking right.
Also, Martin Kpebu, a Private legal practitioner, has once again launched a scathing attack on former President Akuffo-Addo.
According to Martin Kpebu, the Akufo-Addo government regressed Ghana and left the nation in complete disarray.
Lawyer Kpebu stressed that his constant criticism of Akufo-Addo is because he scam Ghanaian people after they voted for him.
Speaking to the media, Lawyer Kpebu explained, “It’s what he’s done to all of us Ghanaians. Misgoverned us, retrogressed us. Look, when he took constitutional review for eight years, he didn’t allow us to do constitutional review that would enable us to elect MMDCs, to make them more accountable.
All the proposals that were brought up in the FIADU commission, he didn’t implement any. Look, corruption, he couldn’t fight corruption. He said he’s better than JM. Yet when he came out of his eight years, on the corruption perception index, even for one year, he couldn’t beat JM. One year, he couldn’t even beat JM,” he said.
He added, “It means eight zero, JM lashed Akufo-Addo 8 zero on the corruption perception index, JM did better on economy, JM did better on press freedom. JM did better on the democracy index, right? So my cry is that he’s a scam and will continue to say it. I’m not about to stop saying it.
When somebody is given so much, you know, power, we voted for him thinking that JM is not good, and then he came and did worse than JM. That’s how he will continue to mention him and hold him accountable. So it’s not about personal hatred”, he stated.
Lawyer Kpebu added, “He [Akuo-Addo] has to come with apologies upon apology, kneel down, to show that we are not fools. You don’t deceive citizens like that. I will fight corruption, I will do this, and then you come, then you turn out to be the mother serpent of corruption.”
